This book is dedicated to my children: Nann and Chris. May you grow in the knowledge and love of the Lord. Also, to my former best friend Retha. She was like a second mother and a sister. Her support was like a bridge over my troubled waters.

Preface

As a babe in Christ, I had the occasion to read a booklet entitled In Him by Kenneth E. Hagin. He stated that there were 140 verses listing who we were in Christ Jesus. After years of study and many more years of not studying God's word, I found 235 verses that speak to who we are in Jesus and what we have received from Him, either stated plainly or by implication. This list remained dormant for about thirty years until I was impressed to organize this theme into a book entitled Lists.

Acknowledgments

This book would not be possible without the teachings and support of three pastors: true men of God and their loving, supportive, and praying wives.

David and Cherry:

Pastor David was by my side throughout many trials I encountered as a young Christian. His sermons remain the most profitable ones for instruction and personal growth in the Lord. Jesus is the central figure in his sermons. He is a prophet and maintains close ties to the Jewish faith. He almost always has the ear of God close at hand. Cherry always lifted my soul with her smile and enthusiasm for God.

Dub and Sandra:

Pastor Dub stood beside me throughout my darkest years. He remained steadfast until vacating his position as pastor. I am eternally grateful for his prayers and for the friendship of his wife, Sandra, who had a twinkle in her eye for all she loved.

Gary and Della:

Pastor Gary remains the most humble person I have ever known. His wife, Della, sings beautifully and loves you like no other, save Jesus. Pastor Gary taught a lot about faith, God's love, and trusting in the Lord. He was gentle and exemplified a loving relationship with God, our Abba Father and joy in the Lord.

Introduction

The end times are upon us and Jesus will return soon. As soldiers for the Lord, we will engage in spiritual warfare. We overcome by the word of our testimony and faith in Jesus. Knowledge of our identity aids us in prayer, intercession, and fighting the world. Our identity comes from our Father God and is part of our arsenal to do battle for the Lord.

This book lists characteristics we have received from God our Father and what God has made us in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. To God be the glory forever and ever!

Included is a list of what God has done for me. The emphasis here is on God Almighty and His love for us. He is forever with us, whether we recognize Him or not. God, our Father, loves
