Laverne Booker

Pastor Laverne Booker-Kornegay was born January 17 1965, raised in the City of Newark. She has two biological Children. Evans T. Montlouis Jr., Gabrielle Montlouis. She is happily married to Joseph Earl Kornegay. Laverne Booker - Kornega has tyransformed herself into a motivational speaker. She is the Author of several books Your Locations is not your destination (2012). The Journey Never Ends (2014). The Power of Love in and through the Eyes of God (2020). All published with West Bow Press. She is the owner of the Non-Profit Organization. The Restoring Life Restoration Center Corp. (for battered and abused women). She is also the owner and Pastor of The Restoring Life Deliverance Church in the the state Delaware.

This book is dedicated to those who have hurt me and thought that I would never move past, or recover from the hurt and pain that, they have caused in my life but, because of the God I serve. The God who said he would never leave me or forsake me allowed me to continue to Love you even in the midst of your deceit, your backbiting ways. He still allowed me to blossom in more ways than you can imagine. Because. I forgave, and forgive you from the hurt, and pain that was caused to me, my growth and forgiveness toward you have allowed me to be a better human being, Mother, Wife, Leader, Business owner, Author and it’s all because I continue to Love you with all my heart, it’s called the Agape Love that God has graciously endowed me with to Love you. I forgive you with all my heart, in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit (1st Corinthians 13:4-8 NKJV) allowed me to carry on this legacy scripture Love is patient, love is kind. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

To my mother Rose Booker who moved on to glory January 5, 2022.

Rose Booker was an incredibly wise Mother. She would always remind us of when our father was not sustainable in our life to still do for him, because one day he would need us.

My mother Rose Booker hit the nail on the wall with those words. When my dad became ill, we had to take him food and other necessities. She would also tell us that God forgives us seventy-seven times a day.

My two children Gabrielle and Evans. My Husband Joseph Kornegay who allows my soul to be healed through all our testimonies, and conversations of life trials and tribulations, encouraging one another on moving past our hurts, and pains that we have endured from others, has become healing for our souls.

My Mentor Reverend Yvonne Smith, who has been such a great mentor and inspirer in my Life, such an awesome humble woman of God. A woman of grace, a woman of humility, who has truly been a great supporter on my journey. I pray every-one finds a mentor that can encourage them to higher heights, and to see the God giving gifts that God has placed in them.
