Dawn
AWAKING
Through a crack of the night
peek the first rays of the sun
as mirages
transparent clouds drift
along the blue sky
the awakening word
must now find shelter—
the road to the light.
بیداری
رات کے ایک درز سے
سورج کی پہلی کرنیں جھانکتی ہیں
سراب جیسے
شفاف بادل بہتے ہیں۔
نیلے آسمان کے ساتھ ساتھ
بیدار لفظ کو
اب پناہ ڈھونڈنی چاہیے-
راہ روشن کی طرف
RESIGNATION
The night shadows flee—
an explosion of light
opens the gates of heaven at the horizon
and illuminates the new day.
But the lake
which already knows it all
affects it no more.
استعفیٰ
رات کے سائے بھاگ جاتے ہیں-
روشنی کا ایک جھماکہ
افق پر آسمان کے دروازے کھولتا ہے۔
اور نئے دن کو روشن کرتا ہے۔
لیکن جھیل
جو پہلے سے ہی سب جانتی ہے۔
اس پر کوئی اثر نہیں پڑتا
MORNING SILENCE
The new day dawns with blackbird's voice.
On the shoulders of the mountains
appears the sky-blue
wrinkle-free the thoughts
audible only
the sound of silence.
صبح کی خاموشی۔
کالے کوے کی آواز کے ساتھ
