Journeys
Rainlight
I walk
steady
beneath the rainlight
smattering upon your shelter
pebbles slipping to the edge and
glistening like stars
––––––––

splinters a path
calling equally here,

like all the lives we could have lived
sparkling goodbye.
Starlight

in its berth of dawn and dusk
the infinite hues in between

to cover you in your sleep—
––––––––
a blanket of shades and colours
to protect you from your dreams.
Walk
All is gentle welcome
powder set upon the dawning steppe
a whispering breeze
sending phantom melodies downbreath
caught upon
