You can also live, walk, and act like God!

In a very clear and plain manner, "Partakers of Divinity" will make you aware of your fellowship in the Divine nature, and will also instruct and inspire you to pursue attainment of the fullness of eternal glory.

Having the life of God and the mind of Christ, and through the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, believers could walk with supernatural power and wisdom in this world: but there's more.

This book explores this statement; "As He is, so are we in this world": that we could walk in love, righteousness and true holiness as God, speak and do the same things as He says and does, and reign as kings unto God to establish His kingdom and will in the earth as it is in Heaven.

"Partakers of Divinity" further proves that God wants us to indeed share in all the fullness of His glory, and provides a step by step exposition on how we could actively partake of the Divine nature through Christ.

With this book, you will venture deep into God, and be equipped to press on for the fullness of His Glory.

Partakers of Divinity - Samuel A. Buah

    Dedication

    To:

God and our Lord, through the knowledge of whom we partake of the Divine nature.

The Divine Power, who gives unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness.

The children of God: all who are called to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

    Introduction

Everyone who is in Christ is a new creature. Through faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, every believer is dead to the life of the first man, Adam, and has been raised up as a new man in Christ; having been born again with the seed of God. Anyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is therefore a child of God. If this be the case, then every believer is a god; and should therefore live as such in this world.

My books (The New Creature & Ye are gods) address our being sons and heirs of God as well as the life we ought to live as gods since we are children of the Most High respectively. The things that God has prepared for us are such as eye has not seen nor ear heard indeed. They are such as have not entered into the heart of man.

The life that He has called us into is truly glorious. Having the life of God and the mind of Christ, and through the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, we are to reign in the earth with extraordinary power and wisdom beyond that of natural men, principalities, and powers: but there's more. If we are children of God, then it means that by the seed of God, we have obtained the same nature and life as our Heavenly Father. Yet, we are not of the same stature as God. Just like a child has to grow up from being a baby into a fully developed or mature human being, so are we to grow up into the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ (see Ephesians 4:13, 15). God desires that we grow up into Christ in all things.

Ephesians 3:19 makes it clear: our Heavenly Father wants us to be filled with all the fullness of God. Again, Apostle Paul showed us the purpose to which God chose and predestined us in Christ:—that we might be conformed to the image of His Son: that we might possess the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ (see Romans 8: 29, 2Thessalonians 2:14).

Now, the Son (Christ Jesus) is the brightness of God's glory, and the express image of His person (see Hebrews 1:1-3). Therefore, to obtain the glory of the Son of God is to become also, the expression of God's glory, and the exact representation of His being: and this is the Father's hope for every believer. Moreover, if Christ embodies all the fullness of the Godhead, and we are complete in Him (see Colossians 2:9-10)—being His body—then it means that, all that God is, dwells inside the church.

All that I have said, hitherto, implies that whosoever is in Christ inherently possesses the same nature and life as God, and could therefore mature to access and partake of all that is available in God—we are called to share in all the fullness of Divinity. Now consider this verse of the Scriptures:

"Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature..." (2Peter 1:4).

According to this text, and as I shall elaborate on in the rest of this book, God's Divine power has given to us all that it takes for us to be sharers or companions in the nature of God. What our Father is looking for, in us, is many more people who have the same nature and life as Him, and dedicated to doing the same work as He does.

Therefore, what this book seeks to do is to show you that every believer is as God is in this world, and how we ought to live so that we might learn and exercise ourselves to the attainment of all the fullness of that eternal glory unto which our Father has called us in Christ: that we might as well participate in the Divine agenda. I show you through the Spirit and my understanding in the mystery of Christ, how God has, as it were, called us to be partners in the Godhead through Christ.

    chapter one

As He is so are we in this world

When the sons of God (the angels) came into the daughters of men, they bore them giants, and this same children became mighty men of renown (see Genesis 6). If those children were of angels, then they were of another kind since the seed that produced them was not of man. It is of no wonder that they became giants, mighty, and renowned: because angels are of greater might and wisdom in comparison to humans. The children born after their kind therefore became mightier and more powerful than men. Through the sin of these angels who came into the daughters of men, and by their seed, they filled the whole earth with great wickedness, evil, and ungodliness (see Genesis 6:5, 2Peter 2:4, 5).

If the children of angels became giants and mighty men of renown in that old world, then what do you suppose of the seed of God. We that are born of God should be the greatest, mightiest, and wisest of men in all the earth, and in all realms of human endeavor: because we are of God whose wisdom and power surpasses all. As Daniel 11:32 says, but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits, so are we to be strong and the ones doing and achieving great things in this world through our knowledge of God. And because our Father is righteous and holy, we should fill the earth with His righteousness and glory instead of with wickedness, evil, and ungodliness.

Yes! we are gods; and all of us are children of the Most High: therefore we ought to reign in this world with supernatural wisdom and power through our knowledge of God: but there is even more:

"Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world" (1John 4:17).

Apostle John made this profound statement: because as He is, so are we in this world. This means that we are in God's stead in the earth. How great is that? Now to understand this statement, let us consider what God said to Moses:

"15And thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what you shall do. 16And he shall be thy spokesman unto the people: and he shall be, even he shall be to thee instead of a mouth, and thou shalt be to him instead of God" (Exodus 4:15-16).

God said that Moses was to occupy the place of God to Aaron. Instead of God, there would be Moses. Moses was, therefore, the representation of God to Aaron. Whatever he was to say and do was to be perceived by Aaron as what God was saying and doing.

Since Aaron was also to be Moses' spokesman unto the people (Israel), it meant that Moses was in God's stead to all Israel. This was the reason why the glory of God was revealed in his face just as the glory of God is now revealed in the face of Jesus Christ, who is the express image of God's person or as another translation says, the exact representation of His being (2Corinthians 4:6, Hebrews 1:3).

Moses was the image of God as a servant to the whole house of Israel just as Christ is the exact representation of God as a Son over His own house (see Hebrews 3:5-6). This was the reason why Moses could prophesy of Jesus as a Prophet God would raise up like unto him (see Deuteronomy 18:15).

This meant that whatever Moses said and did in the eyes of the children of Israel was to be exactly what God was saying and doing. He was to represent God to Israel. That was also the reason for the harsh judgment God gave when Moses smote the rock twice instead of speaking to it as the Lord commanded him. Moses did not go into the promised land because he did not believe God to sanctify Him in the eyes of the children of
