About this ebook

The Bible is a book written by God and the formation of His family. Our believing, knowing, and understanding are the revelation of Christ already in us, which must be squeezed and shaped into His image so that when others see us, they see their Father. God is looking for his sons to do this. The Book of Revelation reveals Christ in us, which must be manifested as the body with Jesus as the head in order for the return of the Lord to be revealed.
This book is the instruction of the spiritual process that must take place individually and then corporately in each child of God to walk in the authority and power as a son. What he created in spirit must come forth in the flesh with his image and likeness. We must know in our heart that we are an offspring, a portion of the original.
Jesus has been blowing the sound of our jubilee since he rose from the grave. He is waiting for us to hear this sound and enter into his rest. We have the ability today to know the power of his resurrection while in our natural body. The Book of Revelation tells us how.
God is looking for His sons He created in the beginning to take dominion and authority. The Book of Revelation reveals Christ in us who must be manifested as His body with Jesus as the head.
When Jesus said, “It is finished,” was he just making a way for personal salvation with God, or was there a bigger picture?
John 14:12 says, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.”
For over 2000 years the body of Christ has been liken to kings and lords hiding in a cave waiting for a someday when they get to heaven to receive their inheritance as a son of God. When Jesus died he gave us the ram's horn, the shofar, to declare that our JUBILEE is here NOW for us to receive.
The Book of Revelation teaches us how to hear the sound of this horn, the voice of the Father, which brings hope and challenge for us to open the doors to our true identity as a “son” of God. It will set us free from the captivity and bondages in our lives as we find out that as He is, so are we today in this world with His power and His authority.

    About the Author

    Preface

    In the Beginning God...

The word God used in Genesis 1:1 is the Hebrew word Elohim meaning God plural. This is us found in Genesis 3:22. This is the Alpha and Omega found in Revelation 1:10. As things come from Him, they then come through Him. Eventually, they come back to Him as an expansion or enlargement of Himself (Colossians 1:16-17).

The Bible is a book written by God about the formation of His family as He is. Our believing, knowing, and understanding is the revelation of Christ in us being squeezed and shaped into His image so that when others see us, they see their Father.

Everything is subject to change except God. He has no beginning and no end which means no change. He doesn’t evolve, grow, or improve. He is everlasting the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow unaffected by anything outside of Himself (Malachi 3:6).

God can not know change, but He must increase which is caused by the fact that He is love (1 John 4:16). To be Love it must be given away unconditionally. When our change ability is confronted by His unchanging ability, we are put through an exercise of godliness or the formation of our god identity in Him (I Timothy 4:7).

God is looking for His sons that He has created to do the Father’s business in the earth as Jesus did unveiling the greater works of the Kingdom of God in this world (John 14:12). The Book of Revelation reveals Christ in us which must be manifested as the body with Jesus as the head in order for the return of the Lord to be revealed. This book is the instruction of the spiritual process which must take place individually and then corporately in each child of God to walk in the authority and power as a son. What He created in spirit must come forth in the flesh with His image and likeness. We must be an offspring; a portion of the original.

"In the beginning was the Word (Elohim) and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men (Let there BE LIGHT). And the light shineth in darkness and the darkness comprehended it not…He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name…And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth…" (John 1: 1-5, 10-12, 14).

God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the Day of Judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:16b, 17)

Let us BE the WORD made flesh and dwelt among men in this world bringing transformation of the sons of God into His image.

    Author’s Notes

When writing a book, one must ponder how to bring their audience to an understanding of the author’s position or mindset. My thoughts for this book came from an in-depth hunger and longing to KNOW God according to what the Holy Spirit has taught me through the Scriptures, based on my personal experience of being healed from an incurable disease that hindered my nervous system, two different breast cancers, and my life experiences of many trials and tribulations.

Though I was raised in the Christian church, I found myself with many questions in my search for the answers to my life’s situations that the denominational training I was receiving wasn’t able to give to my satisfaction. For this reason, other than the Scriptures, the resources I have limited myself to are Strong’s Concordance, a Hebrew-Greek Dictionary, and the Old and New Testament Lexicon. I have stayed away from commentaries to help me stay focused on allowing the Holy Spirit to be the teacher of this book. I have also tried to limit the sharing of my personal experiences to reduce the attention to myself. Through negative encounters of my life, I have been able to find love, hope, and peace that were applied while in the midst of the circumstances. This has enabled me to become an overcomer in Christ Jesus, which is what gave me the material to write this book. Seeing Scriptures through the eyes of love will bring to the reader a fresh awakening from denominational religion into the beauty and wonder of how much their Heavenly Father loves them.

The word sons used in the title and throughout the book is not referring to gender of male or female, but is used in context with Scripture based on the difference between children of God, and those that are the mature body of Christ known as sons. In the book of Genesis we are told that Adam was created in the image of God, both male and female (Genesis 1:27, 5:2). If Scripture can refer to all believers, male and female, as the bride of Christ, we can also consider Scripture referring to males and females as being sons of God. As children of God, we are in a stage of learning, but as sons of God we should be at a stage of spiritual growth that when others see us they see the Father because of the maturity of understanding who their Heavenly Father is.

The history of the Christian church has taught to put the emphasis of being a Christian by being born-again to receive acceptance to have a place to go when a person dies – a place to spend eternity.

Jesus came to show mankind that the Kingdom of God is within us, and being born-again is the unveiling of this true identity as renewed creations in Christ Jesus. The desire of Almighty God of the Universe and creator of all things is for mankind to know their true identity as mature sons of God in Christ. As a corporate church of believers we are also known as the assembly, the congregation, and the bride of Christ. We seek for the return of the Lord Jesus Christ, but He is seeking to return for a bride who has prepared herself for oneness as His body in the earth to rule and reign with Him now.

Scripture tells us, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John 1:1). According to this Scripture, God is the Word. It isn’t God over here and the Scriptures over there. It also tells us that the Word is Jesus. The Word was with God, and the Word is God. God is Spirit and eternal. He is ALL light and ALL life. He has no darkness and no death. Therefore, the Word (Jesus/Scripture) must also be the same. God is taken out and religion is filled in when we use the Word of the Lord for self-desires, lacing it with judgment and condemnation.

When God gave us the Scripture writings, they were written through a Hebrew mindset. Even though the New Testament was written in Greek, Jesus and the disciples spoke and thought with a Hebrew mind. The major difference between the Greek and Hebrew mindset is that the Greeks see Scripture as philosophical, and the Hebrew understanding of the Scriptures is as a personal conversation with God.

The Greeks believe the natural mind must make sense of the things of God. They also believe that the more education a person has in theology and philosophy, the greater chance he will have in understanding the Word. The Greek uses these means in trying to interpret what God is saying. The Greek mindset may acknowledge the existence of the Holy Spirit, but it puts aside the fact that it IS the Holy Spirit who reveals the mysteries of God. Today we know that the Holy Spirit does not require anyone to have a college degree to bring forth revelation knowledge.

In contrast, the Hebrew mind asks, What is God saying to you, and what are YOU going to do with it? The Hebrew mind gives respect to the fact that wisdom of the Word brings life and light to different parts of the body in different ways. It is a walk of faith to believe there is only one Holy Spirit and one God. Even though there are many members of one body, it is only the blood of Jesus, the Word, which gives life to the many members. This kind of faith declares that it is the responsibility of the Holy Spirit to bring unity to the body.

This Hebrew mindset is the perspective from which I have chosen to share thoughts, which aim to bring unity and light to the body of Christ. I do not expect the reader to have a full understanding of what is written in this book, nor do I expect full agreement with my thoughts and research. The author’s goal is to stir the spirit of the reader to examine their Christian views and encourage the allowance of the Holy Spirit to be the author and finisher of their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. In the court room of God we must demonstrate TRUTH as our identity. We can not be telling a Bible story, quoting scripture, or justifying a doctrine.

The teachings in this book have been compiled from essays written for our website, www.InteriorCoveringsMinistry.org., and www.ICMinistry.org. The website offers a wonderful opportunity to reach people around the world with the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. However, without a hard copy of the material, it is difficult for the reader to ponder the teachings and/or do an in-depth study. We have therefore put some of the teachings into book form. All proceeds received from the sale of this book are given to Interior Coverings Ministry, a nonprofit organization, to be used for outreach missions furthering the Kingdom of God by sending Bibles into foreign countries. I encourage the use of highlighters, underlining, and note taking in the margins as the Holy Spirit stirs the Christ in you. This book is by no means exhaustive to what is hidden in the Book of Revelation, but an opportunity for His glory to be revealed.

It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings is to search out a matter (Proverbs 25:2).

    Introduction

The Apostle John wrote the Book of Revelation. What he wrote is the revelation of Jesus Christ, not revelations. There have been several views of how this book can be interpreted. Each view has its own interpretation. The author has chosen to interpret it from the finished work of Jesus Christ that was declared in John 19:30. This book is viewed in unity with all the books of the Bible as the mind of God; and can only be understood with spiritual understanding. The interpretation is with the belief that there is an unveiling of our true identity in Christ revealed to each of us only by the Holy Spirit. The eternal wisdom that God has for the body of Christ cannot be contained in one individual’s understanding. It takes the unity of the whole body for the Lord’s return to be manifested.

All of John’s writing including Revelation was also during the same time period of his life. This includes when he wrote the Gospel of John and the letters of John known as I, II, and III letters of John. All of his writings took place when he was an old man within a 4-5 year period, and approximately 20-25 years AFTER the fall of Jerusalem in 70AD. This is a huge significant point that must be considered. This is about 60 years after the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

John’s thoughts in all of his writings flow from the same life cycle of his age and experience. Often times when the New Testament is read we think that the order that the writings are categorized in is the historical order of viewing our Christian journey so that when we get to the end of the writings prophesy teachers have given the body of Christ the feeling of judgment and wrath of God when they get to the last writings known as Revelation.

The synoptic Gospels known as Matthew, Mark, and Luke along with the Epistles of Paul were all written before the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem in 70AD. The position their writings hold is a bridge between the resurrection of Christ and the destruction of everything that was known at that time of a relationship with God as Father. John’s writings come from a heart position and not just an observer explaining the why behind what the synoptic gospels share. John does not replace anything that the other disciples wrote, but explains the overcomer’s position while on the earth in our natural bodies. Without John’s writings we don’t know how to process the lessons Jesus gave of us being in Christ versus a Christ follower. The Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is all about HIS Story in HIS History and the part we were created for in that particular time era.

The word revelation is singular, not plural. This is a key to understanding these Scriptures. God gave the writing to John to disclose the unveiling of the divine mysteries throughout Scripture (Ephesians 3:14-17). The author does not say this is a book about demonic power, terrorism, or eternal hell; nor is it about beastly creatures, Iraq, Iran, scud-missiles, global warming, or monsters. Revelation was not written to scare people into Christianity, but to bless them if they read it.

Acts 4:33 tells us when revelation knowledge is given; the unveiling of that revelation will bring forth great grace, loving-kindness, favor, and goodwill. John writes in the Book of Revelation 1:3 that you will be blessed, happy, and envied by reading, hearing, and keeping yourself true to the things which are written. He doesn’t say you will be scared, beaten, judged, or condemned; but blessed to be envied. This is so that others will be drawn to the same revelation of Jesus Christ through His love and mercy that they see in your life.

This is the only book in the Bible that tells us what the book is about in the first verse. However, for us to understand this book we must already know in our spirit that we have ears to hear what the Spirit of God says. If every verse had to be qualified for understanding it would be a process of dissecting the entire Bible to understand the one verse.

This book is an unveiling of Jesus Christ, THE WORD. It is known as the Apocalypse of the New Testament, which means to uncover something that is hidden. It has been there ALL through time, but the veiling of our natural understanding didn’t allow us to see it.

    43448.png

There was no veil within the temple of God after Calvary. It was torn from top to bottom when Jesus hung on the cross (Luke 23:45). The veil we have to deal with today is our mind which has allowed religion to separate us from the ability to be in the Holy of Holies. Jesus told us over 2000 years ago that the work is finished; the Messiah has come (John 19:30). Religion tells us that it is not finished; we still have to deal with the body of Jesus (John 19:31). Today, religion is still trying to make sure the body of Jesus is dead (John 19:31), when according to the Apostle Paul we died (Galatians 2:20). Selah.

The primary work of the Holy Spirit when studying this book will be to remove the veil called the hanging that separated the middle and inner courts of the temple of God in the Old Testament. This veil is symbolic of Jesus Christ hanging on the cross. Today, it is our hanging, or our imagination, represented by cherubim that
