Defeated Foe

Living your life as a believer, it is wise to know your strengths and also to be aware of what your weaknesses are.

Throughout the dimensions of time and the travels that we acquired by opening up the doors of our minds to face the memories of never-fading times in our lives, God has divinely intervened on our behalf to ensure a supernatural victory from unforeseen circumstances that may have tried to steal our joy, health, peace of mind, finances, and even our lives. What pleasure I take in knowing that God got us no matter the degree of displeasure we may find in our mistakes while building this storage of files of moments in our lives of battles we have faced. Examples include financial hardships, doubts about our walk as Christians, how we might not be able to measure up to the ideal standards of being a good Christian, and even failures that we may feel we lost the battles. This one particular thing I know is Hebrews 13:8, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever. God is as real today as he was yesterday, and that devil is a defeated foe.

Throughout all of these miles that we put on our brains riding this unpredictable roller coaster of life, all the ups and all the downs that we experience while trying to be the perfect Christian, these are pressures that may arise showing us that we are not so perfect and also that God has already set standards and examples for us to follow to build us brick by brick, one step at a time, and one lesson at a time. This is to strengthen us and rise from being a newborn babe to a fully developed new creation in Christ Jesus. No one ever said it was going to be easy, but the reward is eternal.

I think back over my own life, and I realize how God kept my family and me and encamped a hedge of protection around us. Even though if we weren't fully aware of the
