    Debbie Vanderslice graduated with honors in history from SMU in Dallas, Texas, where she played tennis on a full scholarship. With her strong writing skills and love for God she has gone on to work with such companies as DaySpring, Celebration, and Warner Press as a freelance writer. In 2008 she had Shameless, a women’s indepth bible study published by New Hope Publishers. She has also published Gilead Now by Westbow Publishers, and Treasures of Darkness by Westbow Publishers as well as And the House Was Filled by Westbow as well.

    Debbie seeks to minister to hurting women who have gonethrough many trials and tribulations. Debbie has fought many personal battles, including an eating disorderand attends AA. Debbie’s passion can be seen in theexample of Jesus commanding others to take of their Lazarus’ grave clothes, as she ministers to those tryingto become free from past issues and mistakes. Debbie currently teaches and writes full time.

    Debbie was a nationally ranked tennis player who won several state championships, was the eighth ranked amateur in the nation in singles and the third ranked doubles amateur player in the nation. She has coached state champions and has coached on
