Acknowledgments
I offer sincere gratitude to my Heavenly Father who graced me with renewed and revived hope.
To Drs. Kerut and Coignet, without whom this book would not be written. My heartfelt gratitude to you cannot be expressed in mere words.
To my pastor Bishop Tommie Triplett, Jr., Lady Triplett, and the entire United Fellowship Church family. I want to express my love and appreciation for your prayers and support.
To my siblings, family, and friends. It is with much love that I draw my strength from you all. I love you all to the moon and back.
I am grateful that God placed me in the right place and at the right time to meet my life coaches, Kay and Marc Miller. Thank you for your unshakable faith. It encouraged me to break through the glass ceilings of doubt, fear, and disbelief, knowing that in the infinite realm where all possibilities exist I possess the keys to unlock the Kingdom of God.
To Vincent. I bless God for you. It was because of your persistent attitude, which caused people to move and shake, that I am here sharing my story.
To my dear cousin, Natalie. You will never know how grateful I am for you.
To my loving daughters, Brandi and Logon. God could not have graced me with greater gifts. Our journey has not been easy, but you never complained. Whatever state I have found myself in, you two were my inspiration. Though you two chuckled when I came up with one big business venture after another, you always went along. My heart was strengthened because of you girls. Any mother in the world would be proud to have the two wonderful daughters God uniquely and lovingly gave to me.
And what to say about my son-in-law, Joseph? I could not be more blessed or proud to have gained a son who reminds me so much of myself with all of his ideas.
To Gigi’s babies, my special little angels, Joseph (JoJo), Reilly (Pie), Masyn (Cake), and the bundle of joy currently in the oven (Baby Walker). You are the beat and rhythm of my heart.
A tribute to Mom, Papa Ellis, and Mama Bert. Through loving remembrances, you all taught me god-like values and characteristics that have shaped my life. I am the person I am today because of you three.
Mama, you were the pillar of strength and family matriarch, the wind beneath my wings.
Papa, you were a very stern man who believed that no excuses produces,
but nonetheless you had a heart as big as life.
And what to say about you, Mom? You are very soft spoken, heartwarming, and loving. If I could imagine an earthly angel, it would bear your name.
