What To Do When You Don't Know What To Do - Janay M. Fournette
Author’s Testimony
Hello, my name is Janay. This book was born from a season in my life I call my, metamorphosis period.
I wrote this book because I was going through a time where I was conversing with the Lord saying, Lord I do not know what to do.
I’m scared, I feel all alone, and I certainly do not know how I arrived in this situation. I believe we all go through life challenges and it is of the highest value when we can converse and relate to others in the same boat. This is a book where individuals, from all walks of life, can read and receive from testimonies that can reshape their thoughts, obtain new insights, and live the abundant life that the Lord promises us in the Bible.
A testimony is a test, either positive or challenging, where the Lord did miracles or allowed circumstances to occur in an individual's life. Most Christians, when sharing their story, will call it their testimony
because it is a test. Some tests produce peace, long-suffering, kindness, faith, gentleness, and a host more. I do not mind sharing my testimony because I know that the Lord snatched my family from destruction and placed them back in great health. Now they are in a place where I can love them. For example, a time I sincerely asked myself, What to Do When I Don’t Know What to Do?
was during the COVID-19 pandemic. I was hit with devastation when I learned that my entire immediate family tested positive with COVID-19. I could not believe it. I was struck with so many emotions that I fell on my living room floor crying out to the Lord. I was in California while they were in Louisiana, and I was terrified that they would not be okay. This was a true turning point in my life, and even more so for my family. Daily I had to choose to TRUST, BELIEVE and PRAISE God. I say the word choose,
because it was a choice. I chose to pursue joy, pray, and chase after peace. Other than my family, I had a few sister-friends, and individuals who knew about what I was going
