About this ebook

It is amazing that the Lord God Almighty actually speaks to us, telling us things that are pertinent to our lives. For example, He talks to us about healing. Throughout the scriptures, from Genesis through Revelation, He talks about the healing of our physical bodies. The health of our bodies is very important to Him, and He takes time to patiently show us how we could be healed which comes primarily through His Word. We come to realize that God's healing power is not a concept shrouded in the past but is a reality available here and now. Jesus has not changed. God is still the same. What God did in biblical times He is still doing today. All we need is faith to trust His Word.

There is provision in God's Word for every situation that might face us and there is no need for hopelessness anymore. The contents of this book reveal God's plan and His answers about the healing of our bodies. Anyone can find within it a solution to troublesome, seemingly hopeless situations. All it takes is faith in God's promises, power and faithfulness.

    God’s Word on Healing

    The Attitude of a Son

    Healing: An Introduction

God’s Word is real. It is powerful.

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12)

God’s power is in His Word. He spoke the world into existence.

And God said, let there be light: and there was light. (Genesis 1:3)

And God said, let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. (Genesis 1:6)

And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. (Genesis 1:9)

And God said, let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. (Genesis 1:11)

And God said, let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. (Genesis 1:14–15)

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. (Genesis 1:20)

And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. (Genesis 1:24)

In all these scriptures, God spoke, and it came to be. That is how powerful God’s Word is. He identifies completely with His Word.

The Lord told Jeremiah that He will hasten His Word to perform it in his life.

Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it. (Jeremiah 1:12)

God accompanies His Word. He is there to fulfill it all the time. In the book of Psalms, we learn that God’s Word is magnified above all.

I will worship toward thy holy temple and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name. (Psalm 138:2)

He has exalted His Word above His name. Keep in mind that Jesus, the name we know, is the Word of God as the Scripture testifies from Genesis through to Revelations and most especially in the Gospel of John.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. (John 1:1–5)

Jesus is the Word of God. This Word became human to reconcile the human race to God.

God made all things through Him.

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him. And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. (Colossians 1:15–16)

This passage lets us know that the Son who redeemed us is also the creator of the world. Let the Good Lord grant us understanding of His Word. God is faithful. He does not lie; He keeps His promises. So in the book of Philippians, God reiterates the exaltation of His Word. Because even though Jesus is Lord, He humbled Himself, became human, and died, shedding His blood for our sins to bring us salvation according to the will of the Father.

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:9–11)

He has highly exalted the name of Jesus far above all powers that at the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow, both in heaven and on earth. This includes sicknesses, diseases, and the spirit of infirmity. God is in the business of making His Word real in your life. That is the purpose behind the revelation of these scriptures—so that we can know His will and He will be able to perform His will and fulfill His promises in our lives.
