About this ebook

In the year AD 1492, North American was already a populated wilderness, abundant in natural resources sought by foreign conquerors. They were known as explorers. Wealthy societies were already developed by educated Indian tribes with knowledge of navigation, weather patterns, and astronomical cycles. One of the most exciting explorers (Christopher Columbus) was a man that attributed his motivation to God and wrote about it in the Book of Prophecy. Secular historians distorted or deleted many of the astonishing insights disclosed in his journals. Kingdom Road Volume 1 unlocks the mystery of ancient maps used by Christopher Columbus to reach the shores of North America. His journey may have been an effort to rediscover long lost treasures collected by King Solomon. Spreading the kernels of rebellion, Christopher Columbus and a small band of travelers known as Conquistadors triggered an all-out rebellion that erupts across the world and the continent of North America. During the search for treasures, this book reveals an untold story of wars that raged across the continents, between indigenous tribes and an ancient race of beings called "giants" or "Nephilim."

    Preface

The early church period was an exciting time for the disciples of Jesus Christ. They had emerged from the despair of the crucifixion and witnessed the resurrection of Christ after the third day. We look at their experience and the learning curve associated with working with the Holy Spirit. He was more than just the Third Person of the Godhead; he became known as a companion, a legal representative, and a friend.

This book offers a comprehensive and detailed view of one of the first faith-based explores and his credit to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. This explorer is celebrated today in the United States with some debate.

A third Person of the GOD-Head was known before the New Testament. He was described in great detail by Isaiah, the prophet, and was now making himself known again in everyday situations and in very real ways.

Welcome to Kingdom Road. This is the first book in a series on The Present-Day Ministry of the Holy Spirit, and the role of Contemporary Christians.

With a fresh look at prominent lives throughout history and the prophetic forces that shaped their Christian growth and development, we see that a more factual narrative of history should be researched, rewritten, and taught to future generations.

Progress can sometimes come hard, and change can sometimes be difficult. Facts are too often uncomfortable, especially when they collide with our long-held beliefs and traditions. In this book, we will explore many subjects that open doors for your own exploration and adventure.

Finally, the goal (by the end of this book) is to emerge with a brighter view of the world and a clearer strategy on how to live as Christians in the twenty-first century. By first looking back into history, the contemporary Christian will be able to design a better blueprint on how to build forward toward a brighter future.

Beginning with King Cyrus and King Solomon, we connect the dots and weave a common thread between the explorer Christopher Columbus and scientist Isaac Newton.

With a well-thought-out contextual background, we peer into their lives and assemble a current-day relativism with lessons learned from their exploits.

In the book of Acts chapter 1 and verse 8, it says,

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

The aforementioned scripture records the first joyous and peaceful transfer of power from the Holy Spirit to the New Testament church.

This has never been done before! It was actually an inaugural service, held with the approval of the kingdom of God.

The event recorded in the book of Acts marks the beginning where all Christians were authorized to cooperate as coworkers with the Holy Spirit.

In order to truly appreciate the present-day ministry of the Holy Spirit, one only needs to seek understanding. But what exactly does that mean? Let’s start by examining the meaning of the word understand.

The Apostle Paul used the word understanding in one of his prayers for the church at the city of Colossae.

That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ. (Col. 2:2, KJV; emphasis mine)

In the scripture located in the second chapter of the book of Colossians is the word understanding. This is the Greek word sunesis.

This word means "facts joined together for a holistic picture." Essentially, the Apostle Paul is praying that the saints will have the ability to connect the dots and to join those dots together for a synthesized reasoning.

This word also means to know how something works. For example, if we don’t know how faith works, then we do not have a real understanding of faith.

If we do not know how the love of God (agape) works, then there exists a need for understanding of agape. Let’s read what was said about Jesus Christ.

And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers. (Luke 2:47, KJV; emphasis mine)

Why did the Apostle Paul pray about this ability? Because it is the same ability used by Jesus Christ in his ministry on earth. We see this ability recorded in the Gospel of Luke.

This divine understanding was an ability given to the New Testament church in the book of Acts.

If you are born again, the ability to understand or connect the dots is also yours. It is imparted to you by the Holy Spirit.

In the book of Acts chapter 1 and verse 8, Jesus Christ is speaking after his crucifixion, death, burial, and resurrection. The word power in the book of Acts literally means ability.

With this supernatural ability, the New Testament church was given the same ability as Jesus Christ when he ministered here on earth. This same ability is still available today!

Unfortunately, too many pastors offer too few sermons on the abilities imparted by the Holy Spirit. At least that is my opinion. The result to the modern-day church is a diminishing awareness of the plan and purpose of the Holy Spirit in the everyday life of the average Christian.

As a result, there are too many Christians that may neglect their study of the scriptures, especially as they relate to the ability that they have been given through the presence of the Holy Spirit in the last days.

As one of many solutions to this problem, we include scriptures in this book to assist you (the reader) with your studies.

Therefore, we offer our first 4 (four) goals in our walk of faith. After we are born again, our goals are pursued in the following fashion:

Learn how to recognize the Holy Spirit as a lifelong partner.

Learn how to cooperate with the Holy Spirit as a companion and helper.

To grow more comfortable in our cooperation with the Holy Spirit.

Last but not least, it is imperative that we develop the ability to hear his voice and immediately react to what he is telling us to do.

How do we cooperate with the Holy Spirit? We cooperate by maintaining a lifestyle in line with the Word and speaking the Word of God as the way to confront and overcome life’s challenges.

This lifestyle of faith may not change overnight. It is a gradual progression that may take many months, years, or decades of practice. It is depending on the individual’s willingness to be led by the Holy Spirit.

This change is only achieved by those that believe that Christianity is not a religion nor is Christianity a series of customs and traditions. The Christian experience is, in fact, a personal relationship with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

If we do not believe that Christianity is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, then seeking to be led by the Holy Spirit may prove pointless.

How can we learn to walk lockstep with the Holy Spirit?

The answer to that question (as stated earlier) is to start by living a lifestyle consistent with the Word of God and learning how to speak the Word of God during trying circumstances.

Christianity, as a lifestyle, is supported in the scriptures. When making healthy lifestyle choices, we are essentially choosing to be led by the Spirit of God.

Take notice of the following scriptures:

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. (James 1:22, KJV)

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. (Rom. 8:14, KJV)

As Christians, many of us have not been taught the power of our own words. They are more than just sounds. Words are more than vibrations. Look at what Jesus said about his own words?

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. (John 6:63, KJV; emphasis mine)

Jesus said that his words are spirit and life. I connected the scripture in the Gospel of John 6:63 with the scripture located in the fourth chapter of John.

God is spirit and his worshippers must worship in the Spirit and in truth. (John 4:24, KJV)

When you connect these two scriptures together, it becomes evident that speaking the Word of God is the highest form of worship that a Christian can offer up to God. Speaking the Word of God is being spiritual, not religious.

By speaking the Word of God, we mean learning how to say what God says about us and letting that be the final authority in our life. We also mean by learning how to speak the Word of God about others in our lives, then we also let that become the final word in our conversations.

For example, I may say out loud, God, thank you that you have made me a new creation in Christ Jesus! That is the final authority in my life, and it supersedes anything else that I think or say about myself or that someone else thinks or says about me. I can make this statement because there is a scripture located in 2 Corinthians 5:17.

I would like to share with you verses located in the Gospel of John, the book of James, and the book of Romans. They contain three of
