SEASON 2 EPISODE 13
Dr. Vern Poythress is Distinguished Professor of New Testament, Biblical Interpretation, and Systematic Theology at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, PA. He's been teaching at Westminster for over 40 years, and is an ordained teaching pastor in the PCA (Presbyterian Church in America). His research interests are in how the Trinitarian doctrine affects all of life, biblical interpretation, and hermeneutics. He's written numerous books on biblical interpretation, typology, biblical theology, dispensational interpretation, and many more topics.
Join us as Dr. Poythress describes what typology is, how it points us to Christ in the Old Testament and his second coming in the New Testament, and gives us a model and categories of how to faithfully do this in our own bible reading!

Resources from Dr. Poythress:
Christ in the Old Testament
Theophany
The Shadow of Christ in the Law of Moses
