SEASON 2 EPISODE 24
Dr. Jay Sklar is Professor of Old Testament and Vice President of Academics at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Sklar is an ordained Teaching Elder in the PCA (Presbyterian Church in America), and being a native French speaker also teaches at the Faculte Jean Calvin in France annually. He's been teaching at Covenant for nearly 20 years and has served in the PCA in various capacities throughout. His research interests include the Bible's earliest books (mainly the Pentateuch) and the sacrificial-ceremonial system described throughout. He has numerous books and commentaries focused on Exodus through Numbers, with a specialty in Leviticus.
Join us as Dr. Sklar describes the sacrificial system, why it was so extensively laid out, how the New Testament authors allude to it, and how Christ fulfills it through his sacrifice!
