About this ebook

If you want to develop a fresh and deeper vision for your life, Wm. LaRue Dillard can help. This book of the Apocalypses of Cataclysm and the World of Tomorrow! The futuristic happening on earth for all humanity is pointed out simplistically.

It gives chronological steps as listed in the book of Revelation starting with the message from Christ Jesus. The book points to the church age from the church's birth date in the spring of AD 30 in Jerusalem, Israel, to the "day of Christ" beginning with the raptured host's catching up of the saints worldwide.

This phenomenon highlights the coming drama of the tribulation judgment period on planet earth ending with the fire baptism of the satanic trinity (Antichrist, false prophet, and Satan), with Satan's demons, and all unrighteous people of all the ages from the beginning of time.

Here are the chronological steps:

Demonic invasion from the bottomless pit.

Antichrist's total control on the earth.

Unification of the satanic trinity (Satan, Antichrist, false prophet).

Four angels of God hold back the winds and don't let them blow until the 144,000 are sealed with the name of God in their forehead.

The withholding of death for five months while toucher increases.

The war in the second heaven between Michael and Satan who will be cast down from the second heaven to earth.

Abaddon and Apollyon followed by darkened sun, bloody moon, fallen stars, and a shaken earth.

This is just the first half of the seven years of judgment following the sixty-ninth week of Daniel's prophecy, and now comes the last half of the seventieth week of the prophecy. There is nowhere to run or hide from the terror of God Almighty. Whatever the Holy Bible teaches is believed, or nothing it teaches is believed. This book will help you take the first step toward achieving your impossible task on your pilgrimage with Christ Jesus our Lord. Bishop Dr. Wm. LaRue Dillard is the author of several other books including Biblical Ancestry Voyage.

    Preface

Fellow adventurers of the holy biblical faith, God’s grace to you!

This date February 18, 2020, marks the sixty-third year of my divine call to become a clergyman of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Thinking back over the years, I heard in my mind the call of God upon my life to become a clergyman and the method He chose by showing me a vision.

One early afternoon, when I had completed my day’s work on the flight line at George Air Force Base, Victorville, California, on Thursday, February 14, 1957, I was somewhat fatigued, and I laid across my bed just to rest awhile before going for chow in the mess hall. I was not asleep; I had just closed my eyes when I saw a crowd of people gathered in a bright large round circle, and I was at the south end of the circle (or bottom of the circle). I saw an image of a man in the center of that circle, and in my mind, the figure of the man was Jesus, just as I had seen picture images of Him whom they said was the image of Jesus. This image was in the center of the crowd of people within that circle of light; when I surmised in my mind that it was Jesus, I began pressing my way through the crowd to reach Him while He was walking northward (or upward) within the circle among the crowd of people all around Him. Suddenly, He was at the top or north end of the perimeter of the circle when He stepped outside the brightly lit circle of light, and I tried to follow Him when someone stopped me and said, You can’t follow Him outside of the circle of light; you must remain within this circle until He returns.

Throughout my pilgrimage of walking with God since that day, I have never forgotten that vision, and it has been my motivating force in my life and ministry and has stayed within my thinking as I have sought to serve Him.

Thinking back over sixty years ago of my biblical teaching, preaching, counseling, and under-shepherding ministry of God’s direction and blessings upon my life through these (eighty-three winters) and my service as a clergyman for sixty-three years to this date February 18, 2020, I felt led by Him to put pen to paper in an attempt to write this book on the coming apocalypse; this primarily studies from the book of Revelation.

I pray that the good Lord will use my mind, heart, and scholarship as He desires of me to share—and hopefully in a simplistic manner of understanding—what He has given to me. I honestly believe that God’s aim for His people in this present age is to become more enlightened in His Word so that we will more clearly discern the world’s condition of sin, waywardness, and hatred toward each other as well as His futuristic plans for the citizens of planet earth and the earth structure itself.

I am sure that most will agree that this world’s population has been contaminated by Satan and his evil demonic emissaries, even this worldwide plague of COVID-19 called Coronavirus disease which has affected thousands of people throughout the world since approximately March 2020. It is only a foretaste of greater problems to come as the whole world moves closer to the end of the age. Over the past few months, our lives have been altered and deeply affected with sickness, death, disease, and even changes in our educational pursuit for our children, economics, loss of lives, jobs, businesses, political unrest, increased hatred, and widespread murder on the rise, and perhaps much more.

The coming apocalypse of cataclysmic judgment and destruction of this planet and the world’s citizens will be unprecedented in all of history and far greater than anything we have ever known. I believe that it is a sign toward the coming Rapture or the remover of the Lord’s church from this world. The term is caught up of the people of God.

The Lord Christ says through His servant, the eminent, Apostle Paul,

But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, Peace and safety! Then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day shall overtake you as a thief. You are all the sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.

Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night.

But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing. (1 Thessalonians 5:1–11)

The epistle informed the Thessalonian saints of the coming Day of the Lord as well as the saints of all the ages, which is an extended period of time, following the catching away of the church and contending with the Second Coming of Jesus Christ to planet earth. It will also be the beginning of the much talked about Great Tribulation judgment period on planet earth, including the much talked about battle of Armageddon, followed by the millennial kingdom reign of Jesus Christ with His Church here on earth for a thousand years. It will begin unexpectedly (as a thief in the night).

The darkness in this world is a figure of non saints moral state and separation from God. In 1 Thessalonians 5:6, the word sleep is used in reference to the moral sleep of God’s people, not physical. This moral sleep is also mentioned in Mark 13:36 and Ephesians 5:14.

The word wrath in 1 Thessalonians 5:9 speaks of the anguish of the tribulation associated with the beginning of the Day of the Lord (verse 3) from which the saints are to be delivered in (verse 10). The Day of the Lord and the Day of Christ speak of two different things. The Day of the Lord is the tribulation judgment, and the Day of Christ has to do with the Rapture and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ to planet earth. This will be followed by the battle of Armageddon and millennial kingdom.

People who have been born again (Spirit-baptized) into the holy faith of God who pass away (fall asleep) today before the Lord Jesus comes for His church are safe in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ in the third heaven just as it states in 2 Corinthians 5:7–8. God says through, the eminent, Apostle Paul’s epistle to the saints in the church at Thessalonica,

But I do not want you to ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 4:13–14).

The word ignorant is to be uninformed. The question is this, Does the death of a born-again (Spirit-baptized) saint who dies today hinders the saint from the blessing when the Lord Jesus returns in the clouds of glory for His church and cause them to lose hope of sharing in the glorious reign of Jesus Christ on planet earth?

The answer given by God through the Apostle Paul is the reassuring affirmation that those who have fallen asleep (in death) will be raised together from the graves, tombs, sea, and ashes with those who are living; they will all be translated in a moment—in the twinkling of an eye—when Jesus comes for His church. Will they share in the coming millennial kingdom of Christ Jesus on earth? Remember, the body of Jesus Christ, His church, is one.

Moreover, the Holy Bible never says that the saints will be given wings to fly away to heaven nor will they be given wings when they arrive in heaven. The power of the Holy Spirit is all we need to be taken away into His presence.

The idea of wings is just a myth. Thus, those who are alive when He comes will be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye—the twinkling, one tenth of one second faster than the blink of an eye—and will be caught up with those whom He will bring with Him to meet Jesus in the clouds of glory. The body (not the soul) of the saint who dies is said to sleep during the time between death and resurrection.

Since we believe of the certainty of the saints’ bodily resurrection, those saints who die or precede the ones caught up in the coming Rapture is based on the fact of Jesus’s bodily resurrection. This book is about God’s plans for His people on earth as well as those who have passed away. It’s about the rise of the satanic trinity (Satan, Antichrist, false prophet) and the demons of Satan and the much talked about Second Coming of Jesus Christ to planet earth, the war of Armageddon of which Jesus Christ will be the victor, the millennial kingdom, and the coming new world of tomorrow!

Writing this book has been like carrying on a deep conversation with a trusted saved friend sitting across from me as well as teaching the saints of the churches with whom I have had the blessed privilege to share with and even those I will never meet on this side of the grave. But we, the body of Jesus Christ, will meet again when we are caught up together to meet our Lord Jesus Christ in the clouds of glory (1 Thessalonians 4:13–18).

To many under-shepherds (bishops), elders, pastors, and teachers of the holy church of Jesus, the Christ, the book of Revelation seems to lend itself to either obsession or neglect. However, throughout my years of serving the Lord in His church as a divinely called commissioned clergyman, under-shepherd for more than sixty-three years, I have preached through the entire book of Revelation at least five times over the span of ten years.

It is my conviction that the book of Revelation and other prophetic passages in the Holy Bible is the key to understanding today’s problematic world chaos of sin and lack of righteous morality that has left God out of the scheme of people’s lives resulting in heathenism in action and personal deeds. At the other end of the spectrum are those who think the book of Revelation is too difficult to understand and give up trying to study, pray, teach, and/or preach from it or even ask God for enlightenment and understanding of the book is a sad commentary.

Moreover, the book of Revelation teaches of a coming world of tomorrow where God’s people will dwell in the new city of Jerusalem (new heaven and the new earth). This present creation will be destroyed and renovated by fire so that it may be cleansed from all the effects of Satan’s sin. This is the prophetic forecast of the Holy Bible, especially the eschatology of the book of Revelation. Yes, the book is difficult to comprehend, but it also promises a blessing to those who hear and keep what is written in the book.

Let him who has an ear, hear what the Spirit says to the churches. (Revelation 2:7)

Furthermore, it has been said, He who believes obeys, and only he who obeys believes! It is true what you do for God gives Him pleasure!

The penalty for sin is the essential truth that we should keep in mind about death. Repeatedly, the Holy Bible drives home this teaching: it is not just the natural end of life that holds its awful sway over the human population, for mankind is doomed to die because they were born in sin. When mankind was first created perfect with the power of choice in the Mesopotamia Valley of the Serengeti somewhere in East Africa, he was placed on a test of pure obedience in the Garden of Eden, and he failed.

God commanded them not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil; he disobeyed, and the penalty for disobedience was announced:

But of the tree of knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die. (Genesis 2:17)

Eve was deceived, and Adam was beguiled because he deliberately partook of the forbidden fruit; he willfully disobeyed God’s command. By so doing, they in effect transferred their allegiance from God to Satan, and Adam passed that sin nature on to all of humanity; thus, they are born with a sin nature. The Psalmist chanted through a shout a praise saying,

Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity [planned grave sin]. And in sin my mother conceived me. (Psalm 51:5)

Conceived me and brought forth (in birth), it is not that the acts of conceiving and giving birth are in themselves sinful but that from the moment of conception, a person possesses a sinful nature inherited from Adam and Eve. Thus, human life begins at conception, not months later. The first human beings thereby showed that they were not loyal and obedient servants and rebelled against God in the garden of Eden; there was no alternative but that the threatened penalty should be executed.

The Bible thus makes it clear that death is a penal evil—that is, an evil inflected in accordance with God’s law and as a penalty. This teaching is repeated in the prophets’ messages throughout the Holy Bible. Had there been no sin, there would have been no death nor God’s wrath of the coming Apocalypses Cataclysm of total destruction of planet earth as well as mankind to come. Amen.

Some passages in the book of Revelation also appear in these Old Testament books: Isaiah, Daniel, Joel, and Zechariah.

Dr. Griffith Thomas has outlined the Bible this way:

    Genesis to Deuteronomy—revelation

    Joshua to Esther—preparation

    Job to Song of Solomon—aspiration

    Isaiah to Malachi—exception

    Matthew to John—manifestation

    Acts to Jude—realization

    The Apocalypse—consummation

Apocalypse and the World of Tomorrow!

    (Revelation 1:1–20)

    Introduction

Examining the book of Revelation itself reveals the human author’s name John who is often referred to as John the beloved; he is one of Jesus’s twelve disciples who followed Him from the beginning of His teaching mission in the year AD 27 in Jerusalem and Israel until He was crucified in the spring of AD 30 on Calvary’s hill. John was chosen as the dual author with God in writing several books of the Holy Bible including the epistles of first, second, third John, and Revelation.

The apocalypses of the book of Revelation was written according to John in the AD 90s as spoken of in Revelation 1:1–4, 9, 22:8 when John was banished to the isle of Patmos; this was where he received a vision from God concerning the events of the coming apocalypses cataclysm leading to the end of age and the coming world of tomorrow. The island of Patmos was a rocky island south of Samos; it is one of the Sporades in the Icarian Sea—a port of the Aegean Sea that is fifteen miles around and divided almost in two by a narrow isthmus on the east side of which are the towns and harbor, and near them on a hill is the Monastery of Saint John the Divine (built by Alexios Komnenos).

Because many symbols are used throughout the book of Revelation, we must remember to use Scripture to interpret Scripture (hermeneutics). The Bible says,

Knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation. (2 Peter 1:20)

Private interpretation—several meanings of this are possible:

Prophecies must be interpreted in light of other scriptures.

Prophecies are capable of several fulfillments.

Prophecies must be interpreted only with God’s help since they were given only as the prophets were moved by God and not by any impulse of mankind.

God Himself is the author of every word of the Holy Bible. Traditionally, this John has been identified as the disciple whom Jesus loved, one of the number of His first apostles and only (apostles)—the son of Zebedee and Salome and was the younger brother of James; he was a Galilean—a native of Galilee (Mark 14:70) who apparently came from a well-to-do family (Mark 15:40–41).

His real character was such that he was known as a son of thunder (Mark 3:17). He played the leading role in the work of the early church in Jerusalem, Israel (Acts 3:1, 8:14; Galatians 2:9). John obviously was a descendant of African people of the Palestinian Israelites who also was an eyewitness of the events of Jesus’s life from AD 27–30). During the three and a half years of Jesus’s earthly ministry, John belonged to the inner circle of the disciples; James, his oldest brother had been the first to be martyred before this time (Acts 12:1–5). Peter is also named in close association with this John—the disciple whom Jesus loved (John 13:23–24).

The coming Apocalypses of Cataclysm and the World of Tomorrow shows us clearly that Revelation was written in a period when Christians were threatened by Rome, undoubtedly by pressure, to make them recant their faith and accept the cult of emperor worship. Some maintain that the book was written during Nero’s persecution of Christians after the burning of Rome in AD 64. However, the more probable date is during the harsh reign of what I call that warped personality Domitian (AD 81–96).

Later on, from the book, it was held by the church father Irenaeus and other early Christian writers, and it agrees better with the picture of complacency and defection of the churches in chapters 2 and 3. This date is widely accepted by modern biblical scholars. In God’s calendar of time, the apocalypses cataclysm will be a time of worldwide devastation and utter destruction for this old earth and its citizens because of sins; it will be annihilated.

These lessons will help the Christian student to enjoy their study time as they journey through the prophetic message in the book of Revelation of the coming Apocalypses of cataclysmic destruction forecast before the close of this age. These lessons will introduce the sudden and violent end of planet earth and all its citizens. Thus, we are encouraged to learn more about the fabulous future for the saints and eternal doom for the nonbelievers.

This will be the divinely appointed time when God will permit the rise of the satanic trinity (Satan, Antichrist, and false prophet) to have universal power over the earth in order to convince the world’s population of the earth to follow him (Stan) in rebellion against God Almighty.

    His Disciples Witnessed

    (Revelation 1:1–20)

They were disciples even before their born-again experience and before they were consecrated apostles. When the Apostle John was exiled on the isle of Patmos, he received a vision from God concerning events of the end-time. So take note of the prologue of the book as seen in Revelation 1:1–8. This prologue (which is a superscription from Jesus Christ, the Messiah) was given to John the beloved apostle to forecast the coming apocalypses of cataclysmic destruction of which God will release on planet earth with a great devastation like the world has never known.

This coming devastation of planet earth will be brought on by the rise of the Antichrist from the bottomless pit (Revelation 6:1–2). The Antichrist and his false prophet will work together resulting
