I believe God has preserved and kept me through a life of drug and alcohol addictions, crime, promiscuity, and incarceration while many others around me were dying and receiving much longer jail time. I remember overdosing on heroin three times! One of those times, I was hospitalized and in a coma for three days and was given up to die. But thanks to God, by His grace, I’m still here. God has also kept me and called me into His Kingdom for such a time as this—that I might write this book, that multiple millions around the world would be impacted by this revelation, which God has kept hidden until this end-time generation. I was born again in September 1977. After the military, I moved back to my hometown of Mobile, Alabama, and I found employment about thirty miles away at a shipbuilding company in Pascagoula, Mississippi. A fellow employee led me to Christ, and I was Spirit filled on February 15, 1978. Being filled with the Holy Spirit revolutionized my life and was the crowning point of my spiritual walk with God. I have been running this race for thirty-five years at the writing of this book, never looking back. I lived in Los Angeles, California, for almost twenty years. One particular week in 1990, I was attending Marilyn Hickey’s End-Time Revelation Encounter. I believe this conference was a divine setup for me. It started me on a quest for spiritual knowledge. During a question and answer session, I posed a question to Marilyn. It was at the end of the session, and she didn’t have enough time to answer adequately. My question was this: Can a Christian be lost or go to hell? Her reply: “If they give in to the mark of the beast.” This was the beginning of lunch break. Not wanting to detain the people any longer, she dismissed us. Still not understanding the answer to my question, I had to leave for an appointment. This encounter with Marilyn Hickey started me on a quest for revelation knowledge of the Word of God. I believe this was God’s intention for me. To this day, I am very grateful for having attended that conference. For many years, I studied the book of Revelation and other resource material concerning end-time events. I believe the Holy Spirit has given me one of the most profound revelations for this hour, before Jesus returns.

Chapter I

The Rapture of the Church

and God’s Kingdom Agenda on Earth 

This book deals with a revelation in this end time about the rapture of the church, why God is reinstituting the apostolic order and His kingdom agenda back into His church, and how all of this is interrelated. The theme is understanding and embracing the Word and following the directions of the Holy Spirit, especially in this season, will help us to be rapture ready (Romans 8:14).

A: What Is the Rapture of the Church?  

It is a misconception to most of the church world. But let me explain what it is. The word rapture means to be caught up or snatched away (1 Thessalonians 4:13–18). We are living in a time, as indicated by the Scriptures, of Jesus Christ’s soon return to take His bride out of this world (1 Thessalonians 4:17; 1 Corinthians 15:51–54).

The rapture is the next biblical event that is to take place on God’s prophetic calendar. It can occur at any time; all the signs indicative of His return are evident right now (see Matthew 24:3–15).

There is great controversy concerning the rapture, especially about whether it is pre-tribulation or post-tribulation.

(1) The Pre-tribulation Rapture

I believe the Bible teaches both. There will be a rapture of the bride of Christ, before the great tribulation begins, which shall be the kingdom cabinet members, the ruling class of kings and priests.

Jesus is coming for a bride that is prepared and ready for marriage (Revelation 3:10, 21–22; 4:1–2; 5:9–10; 19:5–9; Matthew 25:1–13).

(2) The Post-tribulation Rapture

Those caught up in this rapture are the ones who were not ready when Jesus came for His bride (Matthew 25:10–13) and those who endured the great tribulation (Matthew 24:21). This is that part of the universal church of God (the family of God) who were not ready when the bridegroom came, members of God’s family born in the kingdom, loved of the Father, but because of their disobedience, they did not enter into the fullness of their inheritance. They were allowed to go through the great tribulation, and those who endured it were raptured up at the end of it (Revelation 7:9–17). This understanding of two raptures involves views from two different perspectives.

Jesus is coming soon, much sooner than we might imagine, and I believe that this end-time message is particularly for this end-time generation. I believe that this book is a must-read, because it may determine your eternal destiny.
