About this ebook

The Great Tribulation is a global event that everyone will experience. It occurs to get Christians to re-focus. Its divine goal is to get God's people focused upon the end of man's rule upon the earth. Everything currently happening in our global society is keeping all humanity off focus.

There are several teachings about the end times. But they come short of teaching believers how to be found worthy to escape all that is coming to pass. Being found worthy does not occur by changing our outward behavior. Such effort insults the Spirit of Grace. See Hebrews 10:29. It is not how much we know about the end times that makes us worthy to escape all that is coming. It is how much we mirror our Lord Jesus Christ.

Neither did I make clear the time of days mentioned in Daniel 12:11-12. The lunar Hebrew calendar is quite different from our modern-day Gregorian (solar) calendar. Time references are also very different. According to the Hebrew calendar, our Lord's birth is 3758 instead of 5 BCE.

The number of days mentioned in Daniel 12:11-12 also have special meaning in the Hebrew language. The Hebrews used an ancient Sumerian system of numerology, called gematria. 1290 refers to a time of idols in the house of God. The number 1335 means the Holy writings of written law. The number 45 means a time of insult to the
