About this ebook

The Bride is a five-volume series that explores man's origin, creation, history, and ultimate destiny. Juxtaposed between his origin and ultimate destiny, there exists a spiritual battle of epic proportions. Humanity, with its myriad failings, is the result of a plot and plan initiated from heaven but actualized within man's history, which is closing. God's involvement with man throughout his history brings a glorious end to what appeared to be a humiliating defeat for the human family. That glorious end, however, is one to be chosen and believed. The Bride assists in making the only decision for man's eternal survival with God.

    Prologue

The title of this book, The Bride, is something that practically every culture is familiar with in some form around the globe. The mention of a bride in whatever language usually elicits thoughts of marital bliss between a bride and her bridegroom as they come together to share togetherness forever.

As a follower of Jesus the Christ and a bridegroom, I have come to better understand the term bride in its usual sense but also in a profound spiritual sense.

It was in 1996 when the Lord caught my attention concerning the term bride. This first occurred as I was reading a verse of scripture in Joel 2:15-17 (KJV). Verse 16 caught my attention: Let the bridegroom go out of his chamber and the bride from her closet. Followers of Jesus the Christ, who is the head of the ecclesia, believe that the bride referred to in various parts of scripture represents the ecclesia, which is comprised of the true believers in Jesus the Christ, living and dead. By revelation, the Lord began to say to me that the ecclesia, the universal group of believers, is coming out of the closet. What does this mean? It simply means that, in a significant way, the ecclesia has not had the kind of worldwide impact that it should have had over the centuries. Perhaps the ecclesia has been shackled in ways so that
