The Incompatibility of ‘UNJOYFUL CHRISTIANITY’
I am greatly disturbed by the fact that some Christians seem to epitomise grumpiness and grumbling. They seem to think that‘pained endurance’is their spiritual gift. And when you ask them how they are, they readily enumerate the many instances of the hardships in life. Their constant hymn seems to be,“Count your many troubles, count them one by one…”
God has given us joy by His Holy Spirit and calls us to pursue joy.
