This book is dedicated first to God because this book would never have been written if it wasn’t for his will that it be done.

Preface

Iam by no means a professional writer, and if anyone would have told me that someday I would write a book, I would have told them they were crazy. However, here I am writing a book. I believe God led me to write this book to be a source of inspiration to others to let him into their lives and to show them that yes, God is real! I think part of his reason for choosing me is that I am an average person. I think he wants me to tell my story in my own words. The events I’m going to tell you about actually happened to me. Some of them were at points in my life where I wasn’t even thinking about God, but when they happened, it made me take notice and reminded me that God is watching out for me and cares about me. I hope he will use this book to shine his glorious light into the hearts of those who are still searching for him and show them the importance that he be a daily part of their life for their own salvation.

A portion of the profits from the sale of this book will be directed to the small church I am a member of, the North Madison Baptist Church in Madison, Indiana. The pastor of this church is Frank McGee. He has only been with the church since 2005, but he has high visions for the church and what it can accomplish. Personally, I have only been a member since 2012, but I have never felt so welcome in any other church as I did at North Madison Baptist.

Chapter 1

My Beginning

Iwas born into a strong Catholic family. All my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins
