    Objective

    This is a personal reflection on my life and the journey to becoming a virtuous, humble, honorable woman of God. In this story, I will share some of my personal encounters, and hopefully my story will help other people on their journey to righteousness in Jesus’ name.

    I encourage everyone to always remember that we all fall short of the glory of God. No one is perfect, but there is a God that is perfect in all of His ways. We must pray and ask that the Lord lead our path.

    Chapter 1

    As a young child at the age of 12, I didn’t know much about God, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit. Any close interaction I had was when I prayed with my mother and grandmother before I ate and before bedtime.

    Growing up, I didn’t recall going to church that much but very seldomly with my grandmother, Donna, during the Easter and Christmas holidays.

    A year later, my mom married my stepdad, and he had a relationship with the Lord and went to church. His church was different compared to the one my grandmother attended. My stepdad attended a Pentecostal Church, and I never heard of that denomination because my grandmother was Baptist. Growing up, I thought that if you loved Jesus there weren’t different religious group names, but as I grew older, I learned.

    One day, my stepdad invited us to church. When I walked into the building, the atmosphere was much different than I expected. I walked in and saw a woman with head coverings and long skirts, men were dancing,
