Trust the Process

About this ebook
I wrote about this topic because I wanted to share my experiences and the changes I went through. This was a part of the process I had to face in getting through. I share this in hopes that you avoid some of these changes and challenges. I searched for guidance and could not find it. I strived to get off the streets, and when I did, I found relationships to be even more challenging. I realized that there was no difference between people in the streets and those who are in a relationship. The time I lost not seeing the connection has been detailed in this book. My success and my demise are chronicled in hopes that you avoid some of my missteps. You are the only gift that has to unwrap itself.

About the Author
This book is dedicated to Mr. Patrick A. Dean of RE Wealth Advisors. He is a man who does not realize the power of his presence. He makes me want to achieve more in my life. In every conversation, he gives his best and continues to strive for excellence. He may not know it, but he is my CEO!
I can remember the times when I had more than enough to survive. Going on shopping sprees, having no ceiling on how much I spent every time. Spending a few thousand dollars a week in the clubs, going on vacation with my family two or three times a year. Lavishing myself and family members with gold and diamonds. Walking around with five to six thousand in my pockets just because giving to people as if I was Robin Hood. I was blessed but stupid with it. Cursed, but glorified in my own right.
Yes, I, Travis Lowery, was the same type of person everyone hates, but I couldn't see it. Drenched in the systematics that has destroyed many men before and now. The thirst for materialism, social status, and being controlled by greed fools you. I was a weed distributor, and I smoked a least a pound and a half monthly. Yes, I dedicated myself to something that almost had me killed! That is something that I let go way back but is still following me today and being judged in everything I do today.
Talked down on by some of the same people I poured out of my heart for, the ones who have used my help and on the same note helped people talk down on me. But still, I had to trust the process.
It was Jeremiah 29:11 that reminds me that no matter how far I fell in the ditch, God still has plans for me to prosper which gives me hope that I still have a future! Only if I trust the process.
It took a while for me to let go because, after the robbery, I had nothing left. I was dead broke and disgusted that the very man that I helped get off the ground of having nothing gets everything he set me up! I made sure that he was more than good, but he wanted it all! It prompted me to change in my community and myself. I wanted a better me so that I can stand boldly in front of people and direct them to a one-body approach to improving crime, education, law enforcement, and most importantly our community!
I quit!
…trusting in God and faith. I stopped selling weed in total. It left me in so many
