Annabelle Mayes typed these words many, many years ago. She had a dream where Jesus talked to her. He was wearing a blue robe and sitting on a large rock. She could not see His face because it was shining so brightly toward her. He asked her if she would take up His sword and follow Him. She said yes. He said He was looking for two thousand people to help Him spread the gospel around the world.

The next night, Annabelle dreamt of an angel flying toward her and skidded to a stop. She then saw another angel in the far distance, standing on a cloud. The angel had a wand in her hand. The angel reached out and touched the top of Annabelle's hand, and the wand sparkled like a fourth of July sparkler.

She started typing on her computer one page a day. They were a gift of spiritual writings given to her. She stored them away for several years. Recently, she decided to do something with them and is now rearranging them into books.

He said He was looking for two thousand people to help Him spread the gospel around the world.

The next night, I dreamt of an angel flying toward me and skidded to a complete stop. I then saw a profile of the angel's face. Then I saw another angel in the far distance, standing on a cloud. The angel had a wand in her hand. She touched my hand with it.

A few months later, I bought a computer and started typing one page a day. They were spiritual writings given to me. I had them stored away for several years. Recently, I decided to do something with them, so I am now rearranging them into books.

This gift has given me joy, hope, and a greater love and respect for our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, who is God's only Son in heaven.

Introduction

God is our Redeemer, our social barrier, our inspirations in life, and on and on it goes. He is in our thoughts if we let Him. Ask Him to talk to you, and He will—maybe not in words, but in thoughts. You can communicate with Him one day at a time or even more times in a day. Seek Him in your thoughts if you feel lonely, blue, or afraid of something or someone. He is there for you day and night. He has angels working for Him, and He has His Son Jesus available to you if you would only believe in Him as God's Son. He died on the cross for our sins so that we can have eternal life in heaven. Accepting Jesus as God's Son will be a reward in heaven for you eternally.

Spend time each day in prayer, and you will grow spiritually and find wisdom throughout your life. Read His words that will enhance your life so that you can learn to be kind to everyone around you. God loves everyone, even His enemies. That's why He enters many souls to preach and teach His words to those who are lost without Him in thoughts and in deeds. Believe, and you will be saved.

Reading Takes Your Mind Off All That Is Useless

When good books are written, they accomplish a great reward in life. When wrong books are written, they accomplish nothing in life.

God gave men of great character enormous time for them to write and rewrite all that is written in His book, the Bible. It was written so that all would understand what is essential in one's life. This can be called living a useful life and not a useless life. The great Bible of long ago is still the number one book read in the world. It cares about those who cannot understand God's words. It cares a great deal about those who understands His words and wish to learn more about Him and His words.

Creating a book takes time, whether it is a small or large, short or long book. Long books create an honest report of love and concern in one's mind by reading it. Short books are read to remember what was said about all that is necessary to remember. Carrying books around to look important is useless. Sitting down and reading for a while will create in one's soul a master of books. Looking around to see if others read what you read is understanding what is read, but looking toward God to know what to read is spiritual guidance. How long you read is a useless word, but how long you remember what you read is a word to remember. When all words cannot be remembered but the subject can be remembered, then the words are useful. When words are read and can't be remembered is reading for a useless reason.

Take time to read good books in the world. God will give you talents to use in this world. Reading books that do not concern a good life will only bring about havoc in your life, because you will only be frustrated from all that is written in a useless assembly of words. Good reading habits will bring about good thoughts for the next book. The next book should be a continuation of the last book you read. Then your life will be good. Your mind will be good, your soul will be good, and your heart…well, it
