Youth on the move is based on personal life experiences.

As youth we face many difficult situations and there are times when we feel alone. This book is to let young people know, they are not alone, that there are solutions to their circumstances and problems. Never give up, feel hopeless and alone. Born to a family of two, me being the only girl and the youngest. My parents divorced when I was nine years old, hence my determination to write about the challenges and victories, defeats and triumphs I faced growing up in a broken home. I matriculated in 2003, studied travel and tourism, tried my hand at modeling. I am currently employed in Local Goverment. Despite my setbacks due to financial restraints, my belief that someday this book would be published has become a reality. My faith and trust in God has allowed me to attain my success in life and with the understanding that my altitude determines my attitude has helped me to overcome the obstacles I have faced, My passion for hurting and broken people has driven me to write this book and I believe this book will bring hope and restoration for those who find themselves facing the harsh challenges of this journey we call life. We were all created for a purpose and that purpose unfolds when you discover it from within.

YOUTH ON THE MOVE: THE TREASURE LIES IN YOU

God has stirred this desire in my heart to encourage all young people to give their lives to him and to draw closer to him. When you surrender your life to God, you will find the peace and joy of knowing that somebody loves and cares for you unconditionally. Surrendering and dedicating your life to God comes with a great responsibility. You have to give up all your bad habits, all the desires for the pleasures the world has to offer. It takes time and is a process to change, but it will surely happen. You can, and will change, if you really want to. The choice is yours! Christianity is not easy, but if you press on and hold on to God’s garment, you will indeed be victorious. When you give your heart to god, you automatically enter into a war zone where Satan is your opposition. He is the maker of the corruption, violence, sickness, lies, heartache and everything that is bad in this world. He is our enemy and he is the god of this world. But, if you focus your eyes on Jesus, and you faithfully, truthfully and honestly serve, he will carry you through every trial and difficulty you will face. He is your rock and salvation. If God is for you, who can be against you? No-one! Satan knows the power of God and when he has a plan for your life. Satan will try and keep you from fulfilling your calling and the only way he can succeed is if you allow him to enter your life. Satan has taken control over the world. He has blinded people to believe that God does not exist, but I can assure any unbeliever that God does exist. He died for everyone, and he rose again. He lives for evermore and He loves you. When God made you, He made you exactly how He wanted you to be. You fit His profile and purpose. He put special gifts and talents in you. So you would glorify His name. When, He looks at you, He smiles and says wow what a beautiful creation, my creation. I want you to see yourself as God sees you, irrespective of your flaws and imperfections. He loves you as you are, but sees you as you could be.
