Talia and David are having their breakfast.

Are you still insisting on doing it?

David asked.

Dad, I have told you millions of times that I want to give it a try, if it worked, great, if it didn't, at least I will know that this isn't for me

Talia said it.

But you are leaving your job at a brand that many people wish they could work at, and you are doing it just to travel

David complained, and she sighed and said

You always knew that traveling the world is my dream, but it's not like I will be jobless, I will be a freelance designer, and I already got a project at an amazing clothing brand in Rome, you should be proud of me instead of all that complaining

I'm proud of you, but I just don't like the fact that all you are going to do from now on is traveling

It's not like I will be twenty four seven on the airplane, I will be back home constantly, and I will stay in other countries for months which you can come and stay with me there, besides, you know that I like trying new things, and I don't want to stick to one company for the rest of my life, and by being a freelancer, I will get the chance to travel, furthermore, work with brands from all over the world, who would say no to that? Definitely not me

David sighed and stopped eating, then looked at her and said

Talia, growing up, you always got yourself into troubles, and...I feel this is one of them

Pfft...come on, I didn't get myself into troubles

Talia said it, and David looked at her while raising his eyebrow, then she said kind of confidently

Okay...maybe I did it a couple of times before, but not this time, this one is a great decision, besides, you know that I have a strong intuition, I can sense if there is something wrong, and I can take care of myself, don't worry, all is under control here

Yeah...the intuition that you never listened to, even for once, the one that you keep ignoring, right?

Not this time, this time I will be all alert, and the moment I feel that something is wrong, I will call you, or the police, I don’t know, it depends on the situation I guess, but still don’t worry, trust me man

David shook his head while looking at her, then he looked up at the ceiling and said

Have mercy on me God

Then he looked back at her and said

I know that I can't change your stubborn mind no matter how much I will try

Talia said it while pointing her finger at him playfully, and he gave her a side-eye,

Then she said

Come on, I will only be gone for three months, and I will video call you daily so you can see that I'm fine

Knowing you, I can't help but to worry

Hey, I'm twenty-three now, I'm a grown-up woman, I'm not a child anymore, and I won't make any impulsive decision like I used to

Talia said it, and David looked at her with a blank expression on his face, then she grinned at him and said

Alright alright, your face said all you want to say, now after the same conversation that we keep having for the past few weeks, I will go now to the office and say goodbye to everyone there, then I will go and buy the remaining stuff on my list, you know that I don't have much time left

Talia said it then got up, and David nodded, then she said while picking up her bag

Then she walked towards the front door as David said Goodbye back to her...

Talia walked out of the house, then rode her car and drove off to the office...

The moment she entered the office, her coworkers and friends looked at her then walked towards her while she also walked towards them...

Tell me that you have changed your mind and you will continue working here

One of them said it.

Sadly no Sophia, I only came here today to say goodbye to you guys

I'm gonna miss the bickering that you usually have with Ms. Harrison

Another one said it.

You are gonna miss how I was about to get fired every day, wow...thank you George

Talia said it playfully.

She always threatened you and said that she will fire you, but she never did, you always stayed, look, even after you left the company yourself, you still came back

One of them said it coldly, and all looked at her, then Talia told her

I won't stay for too long Mayven, happy?

Mayven ignored Talia’s words and walked away, and then Ms. Harrison walked in and strictly said

What is this gathering for? Everyone, get back to your work

Everyone went back to their seats, then Talia walked towards her and said

Can't you be less serious at least for an hour?

Ms. Harrison looked at her with a serious expression on her face, then bend her finger in front of Talia’s face as a sign to follow her while remaining silent, then she walked towards her office while Talia followed her.

Why are you here?

Ms. Harrison asked her while walking towards her seat.

To say goodbye to you and to the team

Talia said it, and Ms. Harrison nodded in silence, then she said

Alright, you said goodbye, you can go now

Come on Selena

Stop calling me by my first name

Selena said it frustrated.

You are thirty, you aren't that old to not call you by your first name

Talia said it.

I'm not that old, but I'm still your boss

Well, not anymore

Selena looked at her angrily and said

Why are you leaving? Is something happened that made you want to leave? Is it Mayven?

No no, nothing happened, I have told you already, it's just...I want to travel and have different experiences by working with different brands from all over the world

And what about FTS?

Talia asked her.

You are just going to abandoned it and me?

I’m not abandoned you, neither it, we are still friends, remember? Besides, you have amazing people here who are incredibly talented and hard-working, and you will work with different designers, the company will still grow, and I'm supporting it and you for the rest of my life, and I have told you before that I'm just a flight away, if you ever needed me, I will be here

Talia said it, and Selena stayed silent for a moment before saying

Talia, if you ever changed your mind, don't hesitate to come back here, your place will always be available

Talia smiled, then she said to tease Selena while walking towards her
