There is always something going on behind the scenes at Candy Kloset. From the store's owner to the employees, there is no telling what might be hiding behind those friendly faces. For Rmani, her frustrations in her marriage to Stevie escalate into something she is not ready for. Fed up with Stevie's neglect, she tries to go outside of her marriage to find some much needed attention. What she finds is Rell, a mystery man who is sure to get Rmani into trouble. She has no idea how much. Looking for excitement she gets more than she bargains for and may not be able to get out of it nearly as easily as she got in. Lies, deception, lust, and revenge threaten to turn this little shop into a shop of horrors. We'll find not only clothes and the women who sell them, but plenty of skeletons at Candy Kloset.

Tit For Tat 2 - Ty Khea

    Rmani

Ifind myself sitting in The Loud Cloud at a table for two—by myself. Again. I just got off work, I’m still in my work clothes, and I’m tired. I didn’t even want to come, but Stevie said we needed a night out, so I let him talk me into it. Now look. I’m left sitting alone, picking at bread, and watching the people around me enjoying themselves.

Yeah, I really needed this night out.

I look at the time again on my phone, and it is slipping by. I say to myself, He’s not gonna show, is he?

I wish I were surprised, but it’s not like this isn’t a regular occurrence. Stevie is always so-called getting caught up at work.

I’m so sick of his ass. It’s bad enough he damn near bores me to tears, so it’s not like I would have really been enjoying myself anyway, but then his ass has the audacity not to show up to the shit he insists on.

I’m so hungry, so I decide to order myself something anyway. If I’m gonna be sitting here, then I can at least be eating. I get my food and everything, and this nigga still ain’t here, so I call him.

As soon as he picks up the phone, he says, Baby, I’m sorry.

"Really, Stevie? You gonna leave me sitting here at this dinner you wanted to have? You don’t even have the fucking decency to pick up the phone or send a text to let me know what is going on. I’m sitting here, looking like a fool with two place settings, just eating by myself. I coulda took my ass home and made my own damn dinner. I don’t need to sit up here, waiting on your ass. I’m tired from working all day, and now I gotta deal with this shit?"

Look, I’m sorry. I have a backlog of work to do. I have been getting things piled on my desk all day, and I just got lost track of time.

That’s always your excuse. It don’t take you nothing to at least let a bitch know what’s going on. Why the hell am I the one that has to call you?

I know, I know. I really am sorry. I’ll make it up to you, I promise. Get yourself a nice, stiff drink, on me.

    Whatever, Stevie.

Please, forgive me. You know I don’t like for you to be mad at me.

Fine. I gotta go. I need to finish this food, so I can go pick up the kids. I guess I’ll see you whenever you make it home.

I hang up the phone and just sit there for a few minutes. I thought marrying Stevie was going to be a good thing. I thought an older man would know how to treat me. While Stevie does his part providing and he’s not outright disrespectful most times, he has a bad habit of having me do shit I don’t even wanna do and then not even showing up. That shit pisses me off. He never gives me no type of notice.

I thought I was hitting the jackpot when Stevie came into my life. I was a teenaged mother and doubted that anybody would ever really wanna marry me because of it. My baby’s father was never reliable, so I thought it was just gonna be me and the kids. Until I met Stevie. He was this handsome older man, established, and he seemed to really care about us. He loved the kids like his own, and he showed me more stability than I had ever known in my life. I was more than happy to marry him.

But then the other shoe dropped when we settled into a routine.

Stevie tries to help out with the kids and whatever, but other than that, he spends most of his time working. You’d think with all his working that I wouldn’t even have to, but he’s salaried, so a lot of the overtime that he puts in he doesn’t even get paid for. It’s like he’s just gone for nothing most time. I usually don’t mind because, like I said, his ass is boring.

The age difference already makes it a little hard for us to relate a lot of times, but then add to that that he just does not have any interests that are in any way entertaining and I’m not so sure I’m mad when he’s not around. I just hate it when he lies to me and has me out here doing stuff for him just for him to flake.

Now I gotta walk to Athena’s house to go pick up the kids. In my work clothes. Now ordinarily I would be straight, but not so much in my work clothes. I am a saleswoman in a men’s clothing store, which means I have to dress to get the sell, so it might not be good for me to be on the street like this. When I’m not working, I dress kind of conservative. Not like a nun or nothing, just regular clothes. T-shirts, jeans, that type of thing. I may be only twenty-four, but I am a mother.

Speaking of, I need to go ahead and finish up, so I can head to get my babies. I don’t wanna be walking around too late. I would take an Uber or something, but the walk really ain’t that far. It hasn’t really gotten dark yet, so I should be cool.

I flag down the waiter to pay the check and get up to go, but as I do, some guys walk by talking crazy. Any other time I wouldn’t be anything worth talking to, but today I’m in my selling getup, so I’m looking pretty good. Just dressed up enough. Kinda got a little dip going on in the front, but ain’t much up there, so there ain’t much showing.

Other than that, I got a body though. That you can definitely see. I make sure to wear what I need to get the
