Moving on with the Lord Jesus is a compilation of messages taught by brother Zach in Cotonou, at the Benin convention from the 28th to the 31st of December 2006. The author highlights the fact that Jesus is our Sanctification and our Perfecter. He has made us perfect. He has already done this! From start to finish, it is His work! That is where we stand and that is what we are and what we shall be. He is interceding that we should be all that God wants us to be.

He exhorts believers not to describe themselves using negative words rather to speak positively about themselves because God has promoted them.

Life is about promoting people! God is a great promoter of people. He lifts them up. He does not give each one what his follies deserve.

Promote yourself by confessing that you love the Lord. Confess that you will love the Lord till the end and that you will never fail Him. Confess that you will satisfy the Lord’s heart and that you will obey Him in all things. PROMOTE YOURSELF BY THE UTTERANCE OF YOUR LIPS.

He also mentions the fact that a leader cannot lead from behind. He must be ahead of the others. There must be a leadership gap.

He encourages us to be the best of what God meant us to be! Be utterly good! Be utterly faithful! Faithfully be and use all that God has made you to be and has given you for His sole glory.

We send this book out with a heart cry that as you read it, you will believe it and enter into the experience of being all that God meant you to be.

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our Faith (Hebrews 12:2).

Turn your eyes from all else.

Turn your eyes from your tiredness.

Turn your eyes from your hunger.

Turn your eyes away from concentrating on those who are absent.

I did not start my faith! I did not initiate my relationship with Jesus. Jesus initiated the relationship. He is the author of the relationship. I was running away and Jesus caught me. He caught me and He caught you. He is the author! I confess, LORD Jesus, You are the author of my faith and because You are the author, my faith is genuine and authentic. If I were the author of my faith, we would not be here! Why? The quality of my faith depends on who the author is! What I initiate could be:

counterfeit

deficient

crippled by my weakness

rooted in deceit

and so on.

But Jesus is the author of my faith and Jesus is the author of your faith. He is the author of our faith!

Author of my faith.

Author of our faith.

Author of my brother’s faith.

Author of my sister’s faith.

He is the author of our faith.

He is the author of an authentic faith.

An authentic faith that shall stand the test of time.

An authentic faith that shall stand the test of fire.

An authentic faith that shall stand the test of the Judgement Seat of Christ on that day and obtain the approval of Jesus – because Jesus is the Author.

…And He is the PERFECTER
