I’m writing this book to help brand-new Christians get a running start to a life of power and purpose. You don’t have to waste one second. You are now part of an ever-increasing kingdom.

Some people say their moment of salvation was the high point of their lives, but I’m here to tell you that your moment of salvation was just the start. You’ll only go up from here. God has set you on a path of ever-increasing faith.

I’m also writing this book to help those who have served Christ for a longer period but feel dull and powerless in their walk. You may be wondering, Is this all there is?. There is more! There is an abundant life waiting for you. But you will not enter it passively; you will have to take it by force.

Wherever you are in your walk with God today, be encouraged—there is a higher place. You’ll never reach the end of what God has for you on this earth. And the journey to Heaven is meant to be filled with peace, joy, and power!

GETTING STARTED

WHAT JUST HAPPENED TO ME?

Welcome to the Family of God! Since you’re reading this, I assume you have prayed to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It’s the best decision you’ll ever make. Committing your whole life to cultivating this relationship with your Savior from DAY ONE will put you on a path to an overcoming life.

Maybe you got saved in a church service where you walked up to an altar to pray. Maybe you prayed to receive salvation in the privacy of your own home, or perhaps your friend led you to Jesus. Regardless of your physical location, something happened in the spiritual world that has changed things for you forever.

For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

YOU LIVE IN A NEW KINGDOM

You are no longer under the power of darkness, sin, sickness, and death. God has taken you out of the hands of your enemy, Satan, and put you into the kingdom of His Son. In the Spirit, your address has changed from Dead Drive to Alive Avenue. You can’t see it, but it’s more real than what you can see. What a reason to celebrate! Even the angels are rejoicing today because you got saved.

In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.

Satan has no right to control you anymore. You don’t belong to him. He’ll try to control you, but His reign is over if you decide never to return to your old life. He’s no match for God, and God is your Father now. Our Father takes His family very seriously. If someone messes with you, they’re messing with Him. All of God’s favor and power are behind you. You are SAVED!

YOU ARE A NEW CREATION

This you has never existed before. You may look and feel the same, but you are new. Everything from your past is forgiven. The slate is wiped clean. But, it is more profound than forgiveness. You are born-again, just like Jesus explained to Nicodemus in John 3:3-8.

Jesus replied, I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God. What do you mean? exclaimed Nicodemus. How can an old man go back into his mother’s womb and be born again? Jesus replied, "I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life. So don’t be surprised when I say, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows wherever it wants. Just as you can hear the wind but can’t tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can’t explain how people are born of the
