The author explains a "program for death" built into the hypothalamus that causes death by hormone decline. The major causes of death such as heart disease, cancer, dementia, strokes and more, are all linked to hormone decline. There is a messenger produced in the hypothalamus that regulates your precious hormones downward, until the body succumbs to disease and can no longer survive. Inhibiting this messenger results in substantially higher hormone levels and greatly improved vitality and health. Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is not needed. This book is essentially a blueprint for inhibiting that messenger, which results in optimal hormone levels and a much longer lifespan. The author presents his case, backed by references to over 40 clinical studies, and argues that the human body can live many hundreds of years if the hormones don't decline. Inhibiting this messenger, to avoid hormone decline is quite easy to do. The body is quite capable of producing, regulating and balancing it's own hormones at high levels, once you disable the program for death. Essentially, this book is about living athletically for several hundred years or maybe beyond, using a simple strategy that can be applied right now.

    Introduction

    This book is about a new approach for seriously extending your life, with a strategy based upon existing science. The goal for me is to get right to the point with as few words as possible, and present the plan of how to at least double human lifespan, or possibly go beyond that. I wrote this in laymen’s terms, to make it easier to understand, and I avoided useless information that just wastes time. I am personally convinced that we can do this. Additionally, doubling your lifespan may not be the limit. We don’t really know how long the body can live using my strategy, unless someone actually goes there. With that said, let me present my opinion and make my case based upon 10 years of experience with a product that I developed called the Time Machine.
