Chapter 1

The Monkey and the Turtle

Once upon a time there was a monkey and a turtle who got along great and were quite friends. They formed a peculiar couple that drew attention wherever they went, but belonging to different species was never a problem for them. Their friendship was sincere and based on mutual respect. Well, at least that's how it seemed...

One day he was walking and chatting about his things once they found 2 banana trees lying on the ground. The little turtle, quite surprised, exclaimed:

– Oh, monkey friend, what a shame it makes me see those banana trees! I have the impression that the air has knocked them down. Couldn't it be great to plant them again? They would surely grow strong again and we ourselves would have bananas to eat at any time.

The monkey gave a jump of joy and began to clap. There was no being in this world more of a fan of bananas than him!
