About this ebook

Ten short tales from Henry the Great Blue Heron in the garden, where his critter friends laugh, play, and learn some of life's lessons along the way. You will meet all sorts of characters: chickens, lizards, squirrel, turkeys, a duck, songbirds, and more. A gentle life lesson is learned with each story read. Titles like, "Give A Hug, Get A Hug" and "It Is What It Is," eagerly invite the young reader and adults, to discover what happens and what was learned from it. Accompanied by beautiful watercolor illustrations. Becoming a step-mother of three was the authors motivation for writing this book. Two more will follow in this "Kids Carrots" series of books. "I loved this darling book! Love, Kindness, positivity, finding the good in others and in situations, being the best version of you, and self acceptance. What great reading and lessons for us all!" ~Michelle Ming, mother of three and primary grade teacher for fifteen years.
