    Grandma's Tale - Carolyn Haskell

    GRANDMA’S TALE by Carolyn Haskell

Great-Grandma Jessup was sitting in her lounge overlooking the lake . She was sitting by a large picture window. Outside her pier a few hundred feet out was her husband Great-Grandpa Jessup fishing off his boat, The Bathtub. Her grandson Roy was fishing next to him in his boat. The Bathtub 2. They were anchored about 150 feet away from each other and bellowing at each other.

Across the hall from Great grandma Jessup were her 4 great-granddaughters all waiting to use the bathroom. They were primping themselves because they were going to a barbeque with their father Roy later that afternoon, and there were going to be Boys at the party. Her great-granddaughters ranged in age from 10-14. The three girls waiting outside the bathroom were Sue, Julie and Madeline.
