Sabrina enjoys a small town life with her husband and 4 children. Besides her family she loves their little farm with their many animals consisting of horses, chickens, goats, several dogs and a couple very ornery cats. She has worked with children in many different environments for most of her life. Sabrina has written a series of children’s books. The idea for these books came to her through a few crazy dreams, which she shared with friends and family members, who encouraged her to turn those crazy dreams into a children’s book. With the encouragement and support of her family she did just that. Sabrina is grateful for the support of her family and friends, but most importantly she thanks God for giving her these crazy dreams and the strength and guidance to write the books and take her down this new and exciting path. Jada was up and ready to go bright and early Sunday morning. She was really excited! Her brothers had told her all about their adventures with Grandpa the day before and that Grandpa was taking all of them−including their cousins Aliya, Addison and Keara−on another trip today. She couldn’t wait to go!

When they arrived at her Aunt Ann’s house where Grandpa was staying, Ann’s kids−Jada’s cousins−were all there waiting for them and just as excited as she was. Jada’s dad Joe, and Jada’s Uncle Lee were excited about catching that big fish they’d seen yesterday.

It won’t get away from me this time. That fish is mine! Lee said.

Not if I catch it first, Joe replied.

Are you sure you will be able to handle all these kids today? Lee asked Grandpa.

Grandpa had already told the dads that he had promised to take the kids exploring around the swamp today.

Yep, Grandpa replied. You just worry about catchin’ that there fish of yours.

When they arrived at the swamp, the girls looked around in surprise. This wasn’t at all what the boys had described. Little Joe noticed the confused looks on their faces.

We’re not there yet. We have to go on a hike first and ride on a raft to get there, Little Joe informed them.
