You've been talking about going on this camping trip forever! So long in fact that it feels surreal to you that it is finally happening.

Your camping companion is your oldest friend Sam. The plan was always that it would be a trip for just you and your Dad. Both you and your Dad are the adventurous and nature-loving ones in your family.

Unfortunately, your Dad got a job promotion last year just after you started planning the trip and now you’re pretty sure he will never have a weekend free ever again.

That being said, you don’t want to be too hard on your poor old Dad, after all, this trip wouldn’t be happening at all if he didn’t organise it all for you and he suggested Sam go with you in his place.

Sam couldn’t be described as the world’s most outdoorsy person but is great company and fun to be around nonetheless.

You’re sure it is all going to work out for the best anyway. You know if your dad was here with you, he would already be checking his phone and being ‘absent’ in your presence. No one really knows what his work hours actually are because it seems he just works 24/7!

You and Sam both enjoy the bus trip to the campsite. The bus is only half full but those on board are all very interesting.

There are a couple of family groups with kids, plus a pair of hairy dudes who look like they are planning to do a lot of fishing. They have rods, nets and tackle boxes so you guess that's what their plans are.

Then there's a lady who looks as though she is on the wrong bus. She is not dressed for camping, more like she’s on her way to a high-powered business dinner. Everything about her is perfect and neat as a pin including her hair.

When you finally arrive at Camp Migaloo, you’re surprised to see it looks more like Sydney Central Station than a camp spot - there are people everywhere! It also looks like there are a million different things to do. Instead of a quiet weekend with nature, this place looks more like a Disney theme park with all the hype, activity and noise to match.

You and Sam hop off the bus with the others, grab your bags and head to a small booth at the entrance gate where you have to pay to be let in.

This place gets worse every year, a gruff voice says behind you. You turn and see it was one of the hairy fishermen who does not look impressed with the frivolity going on beyond the gates.

You're slightly shocked to see the gigantic man towering over you - he looked big sitting down but not this big! Then he looks down to see you gaping up at him, you are surprised when he addresses you directly.

"Where are you two planning
