The reason that the diets and pills that the food industry push on the markets don't work is because belly fat is the body's last resort to store fat. So, it is highly sensitive to starvation and fat loss and most of the diets that are out depend on eating less and basically starving the body.
Knowing how belly fat is stored, the popular diets that are low fat and low calorie will actually do the reverse of what you are trying to accomplish. While these diets take fat off your body, due to the chemicals and nutrients, they only move the fat that doesn't burn around to the belly area.
While this seems bad enough, the exercise and fitness industry will still sell millions of dollars worth of abdominal exercise equipment that are all designed to take “inches” from your waste. But, these exercises and equipment will not do anything to help with stubborn belly fat.
It has been scientifically proven that you absolutely cannot burn fat from a specific area of the body by simply exercising that area. So, you can use these machines and do crunches until you pass out, without seeing the results that you desire.
To top it off, the fitness industry will push the idea that you can do tons of long, boring exercises, cardio, or a combination of these two – telling you that you can burn off tons of fat, including belly fat. But, this is instead a huge waste of effort on your part.
Many of the studies out there have found that aerobic exercise is actually one of the most ineffective ways to burn off belly fat, but it still remains the most popular form of exercise for this type of fat. Aerobic exercise simply tells the body: “Hey – she's exercising, better store up the belly fat.”

How do we burn that fat as fast as possible?
And I don't know about you but it drives me absolutely crazy with all of the bad and useless information out there.
Is it about carb fat or protein?
Do we eat a little or do we eat a lot?
And can we do crunches to target belly fat or hip fat or thigh fat?
No you can't do that.

They don't stay the course or even worse they do nothing at all.

A really good question to start with is why would the body burn fat ? or the reverse
Maybe for some ; why would the body not burn fat?
Why is the body refusing to burn fat?
Why am I on this plateau all the time?
Now one reason could be that the body doesn't need to burn fat.
We're talking about body fat...
The fat that are stored on the body as a reserve and if you never need to tap into the reserves then obviously you're not going to burn it if there's always more fuel being supplied than what you're using up
Another reason could be that there are other types of fuel or the timing of the fuel
