To great minds and souls who know what they have done must never be confused with what they can still do and are determined not to settle for great works less than full accomplishment of their dreams. I whole heartedly dedicate this piece of work to you.

INTRODUCTION

Youth are growing and advancing at this sensitive time. Unlike Traditional African communities where youths were nurtured on community level, directed, guided and cared - here elders were relied for knowledge and wisdom to guide youth since all family members dwelt in the same homestead, the modern advancement in tiime and technology has led to diversity where people have moved to live in towns separating from their rural set-ups. Here many modern parents are committed in their jobs and other income generating activities, therefore, they lack enough time to interact with their children and understand problems of their children. They don’t have such an opportunity to learn problems their children are going through. They don’t motivate and inspire their children, then, this brings failure to their children since they (children)may think they (parents) are so busy or committed that they lack time to listen to their problems. In this sense the youth will struggle with encounters they meet on their way. It’s mostly likely that most of them will end up living useless lives since they lack someone to direct them and support them in their weaknesses.

The aspect of elders and community disciplinary guide has been devoured with politics and it has been killed as many people adapt this western culture where everybody is willing to be DIGITAL. In this sense the knowledge which elders have and which could be useful to youth will remain with them since the youth have rejected it and have their own mechanism of doing things thinking it is the best. They reject such useful knowledge saying it is outdated.

In all these ways youth are left free and given a lot of freedom and have no one to care for them. This brings destruction of well destinated destinies, lives and souls in this planet. Youth need to be nurtured, cared and directed till they come to knowledge of themselves. Some youths mature very early and work out their way to success. However, others have late maturity and therefore we should tolerate them the they are, guide them and show them the way to maturity and this will help them in great depths to come up and fasten to their dreams and aspirations. Now, because of this, we need some people to come on board and direct our youth not to perish but to overcome all short comings, challenges and hardships in life which they are likely to undergo. We should turn out; some people are quite successful in deed, very knowledgeable, very wise, very intelligent, very wealth but they luck ability to help others come up
