FOREWORD
Real man... what an impressive topic, we have such a diversity of problems in our schools and our great universities, where many of the men do not have their own identity and many of them do not know what to do because of the pressure they feel not only in the workplace, social networks, television and all this that comes to put pressure on the heart of every man. Each chapter of this book is very important, but chapter four, where she talks about raising children, stands out to me. I personally have three sons, two of them are pastoral leaders and one of them is a businessman, which sounds very nice but nobody knows the problems and tribulations we had to go through with each one of them. But thank heaven, they let themselves be formed and I as a man took the place that corresponded to me to educate them and make them the men they are today.
This book is like a golden apple that comes at an appropriate time like the one we are living today. I know the author of the book very well. I was his teacher and I have been amazed at what has happened in his life in his marriage, in his three beautiful daughters, his beautiful wife and thousands of people that surround him in the work that God has placed him as head.
A real man is the subject of the book but I have known Jerry Manderfield his father for many years and I can see in the writer of this beautiful work my friend Joel traits of his father and the strength of character he received from a man who believed in him and dedicated himself to helping him, mentoring him and guiding him to become a good man. Now years have passed and he has done what his father did with him and has surpassed in many areas his father's work. To me, that is a real man.
As an international speaker and a man who has gone through very difficult times since childhood, I can recommend this book with all freedom and with all certainty that this book has the power to transform, to renew, to change and provoke any man who dares to say I want to be like Joel Manderfield, like his father Jerry... I want to be a real man.

INTRODUCTION:
Where do I find a real man!
It's a question I've heard more often than ever. I have been asked it in over 25 countries where we have had the privilege of traveling and sharing the message of Jesus. The question is asked in educational, religious, political and even business settings.
Women ask: Where are the real men? Not only single women, but married women as well. Where are those men who were brave, chivalrous, conquering, determined heroes? Not rude men who think they are superior to women. But, not the ones today either, who feel inferior, insecure and insipid.
Let me tell you. There is a Real Man inside of you, waiting for you to break him out of his cage. There is a real masculinity of character and courage inside of you that is about to be unleashed.
I have been able to say it around the world that real manhood is only found in Christ who was the ultimate man. Christ came with a life that left in the dust the cowards, social pleasers, fearful of other men, or like the corrupt of his time.
Christ was no mommy's boy, pampered, spoiled, spoiled, indecisive, effeminate coward. He, at no time, was thinking, I want to please everyone without offending anyone.
The real Christ was a macho man who confronted the injustice of his time, defended the truth, had an implacable character. When it was his turn to turn over the tables of coins of hypocritical thieves, he did it with zeal. When
