About this ebook

Relationships are one of those things we can't live with and we can't live without; they are the heart of who we are and what we become in this life. With relationships come soul ties (connections) that either help us or haunt us. Those bonds become an intricate piece of fabric in our successes and failures, but it's up to us to determine how we allow relationships to impact us spiritually, emotionally, financially, physically, and mentally.

    Introduction

Soul ties are spiritual connections between at least two people; that connection can be the result of a physical, emotional, or mental need/desire. Soul ties are mainly thought of when it comes to sexual relationships (between husband and wife or between people who are not married) however, they can be formed under other circumstances as well.

Soul ties are created when people develop a bond for one reason or another. Over time, those bonds eventually become relationships. It’s not the time length of the relationship that matters the most; it’s the impact that those relationships have on the people involved that makes all the difference.

Soul ties can be formed in sexual relationships with spouses and lovers, in close relationships with family and friends, and in professional relationships with colleagues and superiors through agreements and commitments. Soul ties are not always negative and destructive; some can be positive and worth holding on to. In any case, they’re all life altering.

This 30-day devotional will provide insight into soul ties and relationships. It will help you understand which soul ties and relationships you need to hold on to and which ones you need to get rid of.

    We Are Created for Relationships

    Genesis 2:18

¹⁸Then the Lord God said, It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.

After God created Adam, He realized that it wasn’t good for man to be by himself. As a result, He created Eve. He created Adam and Eve to not only have a relationship with each other, but to also have a relationship with Him. He understood the importance of having someone to do life with.

The human population began because of Adam and Eve’s relationship. Their relationship with each other and their relationship with God is a perfect example of the importance of relationships and how relationships should be built on honesty, trust, and unconditional love. It is through relationships that families and communities exist; it is with positive relationships that families and communities prosper.
