    INTRODUCTION

The First Chapter, "Storms of Life" gives an overview of what is a storm, amazing things about storms, a storm gets your attention, a storm reminds you of your weaknesses, a storm motivates you to cry out to God, to fear the Lord, a storm is a call for self-examination, a storm is evidence of spiritual warfare. A storm is God’s method of purifying your Faith and for you to consider that a storm prepares you to comfort others.

Going through storms of life does not mean you have sinned, or God has forsaken you. On the contrary, it may be an opportunity for building your Faith and Character. Your confidence develops in storms which is a necessary ingredient for capacity development. Indeed, the level of your success in life is a function of the three important ingredients of 3 C’s: Character, Confidence and Capacity.

In Chapter 2, "Storms of Life are Disrespectful", first I introduced to you that terrible things happen to all and Not to Other People. It is amazing how I recovered from the storm of Life, and it is by the Grace of God. There is Hope and Healing from Storms of life. Sometimes storms of life continue with No end. God has a purpose for storms. What is it that you are going through? I shared the strategies to recover what the enemy has stolen from you.

One thing that is clear is that storms of life will come, and they are not permanent. They will come to destroy, tear down, disrupt, and divide things and people equally. Nevertheless, there is hope that you can survive the storms of life. God can bring you through any storm if you just call upon His name. Once you understand this conviction, then you become better prepared to deal with future storms.

Taking an essential understanding of triggers of storms in Chapter 3, "Triggers of the Storms of Life." I interrogated the triggers of storms in our lives. I referred to individual shortcomings, people’s wickedness, demonic manipulations and wrong choices. You will realize and understand that triggers of storms are part of our lives.

They have a way of exposing your self-focus. You can put on front of caring about others until you realize that it is going to cost you. Suddenly, it is every man for himself! Self-pity is another sure sign that you have a biased view of yourself. Any time you are feeling sorry for yourself, you are too focused on yourself. You need to pause and get the big picture of what God is doing. Remember, Faith in the Lord is not an automatic thing. It is something that you must choose to exercise, often in the middle of overwhelming circumstances that seem to scream at you.

Chapter 4, "The Storm of Attitude", presents that it is crucial to understand your attitude. Because, attitude comprises of mindset, viewpoint, beliefs, etc. These key elements add to the person you are. Attitude matters more in the current unpredictable, unreliable, complicated, and confusing world that we are living in. Attitude Can Affect Your Life. Attitudes are developed over the years by various means.

Sometimes, they are based on your experiences. At times, they might be acquired from other people. Attitude Impacts Your Life and Career. There are four basic types of attitudes namely, positive, negative, neutral, and destructive. A positive attitude has many benefits which affect out other kinds of behaviour in an effective way. People having a neutral attitude feel disconnected quite often. Your Attitude Toward Your Spouse matters.

Your attitude is created by your thoughts, and you choose your thoughts. You are the designer of your structure of mind. You decide how you will perceive and process the incidents of life and work. You make the decision if your mindset is positive or negative. When you develop a cheerful outlook, you will start feeling better about yourself. You will treat yourself with more respect and love, and this in turn will improve your confidence levels and inner strength. Changing your attitude can change your marriage. One of the most transformational things you can do is also simple, choose to be kind. A little bit of kindness towards your spouse can go a long way.

The next Chapter 5, "Your Attitude and Marriage" adds to the discussion on the storm of attitude focusing on cultivating a cheerful outlook towards your spouse, your relationship will be closer, more honest, and more nurturing for both of you. Your marriage will become a place you want to retreat to, a space of warmth and support for both of you. This chapter describes the possibility of Attitude Adjustment in Your Marriage. When you commit to a positive environment, your attitude follows suit. To adjust your attitudes in a productive way, you will also need to decide on your direction, and stick to it. If both spouses have a negative mindset, that will make difficult circumstances tougher. Everyday challenges and your reactions to them can accumulate and damage your relationship over time.

I highlighted types of positive attitudes to develop in your children. Qualities you consider important for your children to learn them before transitioning to adulthood and independence are responsibility, contentment, appreciation, self-control, concern for others and living life in community. I discussed attitudes which can strengthen families to live in peace. Peace in the family is more possible when we respond instead of reacting. Family peace emphasize partnership, equality and respect among and between all family members. Complete family coherence is the key to happiness, prosperity and success.

As a father in the family, you can eliminate a lot of uncertainty in your family by being so determinedly and predictably faithful in all the ways that count. Be the father your children feel safe with, the father their mom can rely on, the powerfully positive presence that carries certainty and peace in its wake. When one spouse in a relationship has an attitude problem, it becomes complicated for them to connect with them emotionally and even physically. This complexity will lead to a loss of intimacy, and communication becomes almost impossible in the relationship.

Chapter 6, "Marital Storms", elaborates that every marriage faces various kinds of storms. The key point here is to face the storms of marriage, whatever kind of storm it is, together with your spouse. The storm caused by someone you care about as much as your spouse may be exceedingly difficult to deal with. Imperfect people treat one
