Introduction

It has been almost six thousand years since the pronouncement of these words from the mouth of God:

…. Shall a man leave his father and his mother and shall cleave unto his wife … (Genesis. 2: 24)1.

Also, this same idea was reiterated by Jesus when He was asked by His critics about divorce. He said:

… Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, and said for this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore, they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let no man put asunder (Matthew. 19: 4-6)2.

These few words were the bedrocks of an eternal establishment in such a fashion that brought two opposite sexes together. This was called: Marriage because this was the prototype of what was going to be the path with which God would use men and women to bring about children with which also, He (God) would establish the family institution on earth.

That was, in perspective, the plan that God had in mind intentionally to move forward with His creation. Unfortunately, the plan was readjusted, solely on the merit of this blatant disobedience of mankind concerning God’s word, and again it was that same disobedience that consequently brought the fall of man with its ripple effect that reached down every human being through the years.

For generations to come, this seed of disobedience to God’s imperative has been a great deal in the slow destructive life of mankind, but assuredly, regardless of the effort from his part to rectify his wrong, he cannot and will not make it back to the original plan to the like of it, intended by God. But because of this unfortunate turn, he will consequently and the rest of the world, his descendants suffer because of it, and which in turn brings a new world of his own making.

The thought of it, creating this mess on his own, because of his disobedience, is unbearable to him. By one man’s disobedience, the entire world suffers, and yet for every generation, and for every family individually, we are continuing to be disobedient in our own ways toward God’s word, which makes the effect of Adam’s sin in our lives to be multiplied more exponentially and it fashions our lives in accordance with the weight of sins of the world man made.

To some degree even in this generation, or perhaps the generations before, we have made the reality of our lives more problematic than it ought to be, not realizing it, that life in of itself, does not automatically bring sorrowful moments, but because of every individual action taken whether intentionally or not, against the imperatives given by God from the beginning, intensifies the pain stemmed from being disobedient to God.

Whenever there is a situation that affects the lives of many in a negative way, and sometimes very tragically, it is always the result, or the reaping of a disobedient heart. And many times, lots of innocent people are hurt from a situation that happens, and that situation is obviously the direct result of the sin committed; but the reality is, those people, that have been hurt, are they truly innocent people? Because from God’s perspective He sees all of us the same, sinners:

For we all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans. 3: 23)3.

Understand this, the truth is, since the law of sin has been in place in the world, everybody is bound to get hurt throughout his lifetime. From the principle of the life of an eternal imperative from God’s creation, nobody is immune from hurt just because simply, he or she does not do anything wrong per se, but because of the law of sin, the disobedience of man toward God’s word, foundationally, and fundamentally, life is going to be a field of hurt, pain, diseases, betrayal, hatred of epic proportion all the way to the end with no partiality.

Consider what you have done so far in this world that brought some form of pain or hurt to yourself and to others around you. Imagine the danger that surrounds your life to a certain extent, in your own freedom to choose whatever you want to do without thinking how it would affect others, let alone the way it might affect God’s sovereign laws. Such things as alcohol, fornication, sodomy, murder, lying, theft, adultery, molestation and many more to name a few.

This is the world that we live in today, it seems as if there is no sense of decency, or the importance of values, and the understanding of right and wrong for the normalcy of life, in the way it was given to us to operate. Sadly, because we are engaging more and more in destructive patterns, critically unnecessary for our wellbeing; the life we should have had in principle to live by, according to the author of life, is too far- fetched right now regarding the sanctity of it. Contrarily to the grace of God, we glory in our sinful desires in trying to avoid the need of God in our individual life, so that we can see ourselves routinely engaged in meaningless activities with no boundaries.

Those activities such as: engaging in sexual recreation for a fleeting moment, opposite to the principle given for such a relation among the sexes. The explicit alteration of the physical appearance of one gender for personal fulfillment. The need to control the expression of self-image by creating a caricature that is inherently abominable to the character of the creator, in relation to human beings, jeopardizes subsequently the intended relationship He (God) had in mind between Him and His creation, and even to a greater degree destroy the moral fence that He (God) placed there to protect His creation.

The mechanism for every human being on the planet earth has always been and continues to be a man or a woman. These two were the design that from the beginning formed the catalyst for sexual desire with which God called upon the first created man and woman to multiply and replenish the earth. That was the imperative, only in the context of a marriage relationship until death. The infiltration of social relativism, in the sexual context outside the marriage relationship, destroys the path of love, and surely the grace of God that should sustain the view of God for the preservation of life among the humans.

In the perspective of God’s plan to create a beautiful world, if we want to admit it, we are in fact in great danger. The danger that we all face is not only the one from God’s wrath for violating the law, but it is also the one we are making ourselves, each time we personally violate one God’s law, secretly or openly with our body, for our selfish desires against the directives given to follow. This attitude of disobedience should never be part of our lives under any circumstance regarding our free will in contrast to God’s sovereignty. Our goal should always be, despite our free will, in harmony with God’s sovereign will, so that we can fulfill the plan that He (God) has for each one of us during our brief time here on earth. The plan can still be fulfilled in each of our lives regardless of the nature of this world, but it is only in the obedience to God’s word relating to the things He (God) wants us to enjoy in His time.

Imagine when each one of us becomes that obedient person regarding our sexual relationship in the proper context of it, the danger that is automatically present will be forever eliminated, simply because obedience carries with it that assurance always even in the most dangerous places in the world. We can rest assured that not only we are safe against the false ideas and perverted fabrication of sex as it relates to mankind, but also, we are free to love one another romantically without the fear of being both physically and spiritually in violation of God’s word. We’ve seen it just happened with these two examples from God’s word for being obedient.

The one when God ordered Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac on the altar. Abraham’s obedience resulted in the saving of his son’s life instantly. (Genesis 22: 1- 18)4.

The other one was Peter, he who was given the opportunity that uniquely distinguished him from the rest of the disciples and as well as the rest of the world. Besides the Lord Jesus Christ, Peter was the only person who had the privilege to walk on water. Peter was only able to do that because he was obedient to Jesus’ command regarding his request, and even amid a dangerous place where possibly he could have lost his life. (Matthew 14: 25-33)5.

We will come to realize that everything can only be made possible in the Christian life through the obedience of God’s word. As the matter of fact, it has always been through obedience to arrive at accomplishing anything in this world. The principles that were given through the years help the continuity of a well-grounded legacy, which will touch each generation positively, because of the effort of the faithful ones, to obediently preserve that which they have received from those who have come before them.

That is the reason why, for all of us of this generation: to clearly understand the importance of being faithful, to the spiritual traditions that are passed down to us, to adhere to them, and even more obedient to the teachings of God’s word concerning them. If we want to see a society that is free from crimes, so it should be incumbent upon us to be obedient to the rules that protect us from crimes of all kinds. The same if we want to be successful, we all need to adhere to the norms of work that produce success and financial gain for all. And so, in my opinion, it is no different from a sexual relationship standpoint for this life. The norms were given, they are still in effect within our society, within our world for our own protection.

The purpose, for which they were given especially in this arena besides to honor God with our body, was to have a positive disciplined life which would encourage holy living, so that God’s word can manifest throughout our lifetime on earth, where we would not have to deal with issues such as: divorce, promiscuity, prostitution, fornication, adultery, rape, molestation, homosexuality, lesbianism, transgender, queer, sex-trafficking, and all other kinds of sexual perversions within our society.

Yes, it may seem farfetched to attain such a level of discipline or piety, whatever you may want to call it. However, the plan has always been to maintain a level of decency within the society, despite the blatant arrogance disrespect on the part of many, where each family would be strengthened in its steadfast devotion to promoting values that are in line with God’s word, so that in return every individual from the earth would be safe from the guilt of sexual debauchery of all kinds, and at the same time promote a standard of life that is ideal for all.

And so, my friend my question to you is this: What kind of society would you want to be part of? Do you want a society where everything is relative always? Or do you want a society that is clearly pursuing righteousness, in adopting an approach or a philosophy of living that depends totally on the truth of God’s word in all aspects of life? Remember, God’s will, inevitably, will be done either way, so it is up to us to be on board with His program during our brief time here on earth, because unfortunately, sooner or later, the table will turn, we need to make sure that when it turns, it will turn in our favor, not against us.

Dear friend, as you are reading this book concerning this hot topic of sex, considering God’s word for this society within the context of the marriage relationship. I hope and trust that you would come to develop a sense of resolve, determining to abandon this philosophy of this world, which permits the dismissal of all norms in this area of life among the sexes. Such reality, that we are experiencing, is the evidence of a distorted mindset of the society that establishes a platform for sinful behavior sexually untethered. The ones, which are involved in such activity outside the existing norms, make it even harder to promote the basic teaching of sexual relation, on one hand for the welfare of the society, and on the other hand to preserve the marriage relationship.

This effort, to maintain that kind reality of living within the society, is not to invade people’s lives, so that we can tell them how to live their lives; but it is, however, an effort to eliminate the perverted tendency of such relation among the sexes, that causes the downfall of modesty, integrity, decency, love and the freedom to express a firm conviction against the propagation of evil products, which is destroying the entire society, one life at the time.

For this reason, I am inviting you even imploring you to consider the path of righteousness, when it comes to a sexual relationship with another human being. The proper context for this relationship is exclusively between a man and a woman as a mandate, not suggested, but given by God, our creator within the parameter of marriage for an eternal covenant. The bent, that propels our actions, our attitude in this area of our lives, was resulted from sin inherited from our forefathers from the beginning. These things are unfortunately products of the past … as of right now, we do not need to allow the sin of the past to continue with full speed to ruin our lives, as if we do not have a choice. The choice is to embrace God’s will for our lives and to stay away from any activity that stands to destroy, instead of improving our lives.

In the end, after everything has been said and done, we will be all better off standing on the side of God in applying His word in our everyday life. As the author of this book, it is my honor and privilege to help you understand the truth of God’s wonderful word, as I tackle it with you in mind, the subjects contained in this book under the title: Guilt free from sexual sins, the life of Pedro.

Let me invite you to open your mind of endless possibilities, to serve and honor God of such a great adventure throughout this book. I trust and pray, that your heart would stir up into taking steps toward improving your life, instead of ruining it in the nonsensical destructive, devilish way of life from this world. May this be your goal to turn away from yesterday’s unhealthy habits, to embrace the new life that God has for you now and for all eternity, God bless you!

Chapter one

A. Marriage relationship, the holy platform for sexual intercourse

Not too far from the second largest city of the whole country is found this tiny village about thirty miles north of it. Away from the city, if you’re going back and forth from the city to the village, you would find, for the most part, one of the most beautiful sceneries. Along the way, you would notice trees of all kinds, the greenery of the grass everywhere is magnificent, with a scented fresh air that captures a sense of peace, going down the trail that leads to those streams coming down from the mountain.

In the afternoon, walking down the trail for a promenade, you could hear the creek echoing its flow against the rocks, and the constant repetition of the bird’s melodious songs that creates a symphony rendition to the ears of many that are passing by. This small village for its amazing beauty, its cultural uniqueness, and the awesome friendliness of the people, attracts many throughout the year-long from all walks of life. It was also in that same village was found this lowly young couple who was expecting their second child, after the unfortunate death of their first daughter.

This couple, however, did not have much to offer in the community, but because of the husband’s special gift, a clairvoyant, gives him a rare advantage that also links him to many people even beyond the boundaries of the village.

This young man and his beautiful wife lived in this one lowly bedroom house, made with twisted wood and covered with chaff in which when it rained mostly at night, they would go almost without sleep because water from the rain was dripping all around the house. The dirt floor, because of the water from the rain coming down the ceiling, would be totally muddy, and a few of their clothes would have to be hanged outdoors in the sun after it rained.

You can imagine the constant struggle they would have to endure for survival when each time nature was in contrast with the reality of their immediate needs. As the days went by, Victoria and Joe were their names and would welcome their second child in the mid November of the year 1970. This newborn child came along very healthy early on a Thursday morning, it was a boy.

Joe and Victoria were very happy to welcome their newborn son which they called him Pedro. Apparently, perhaps, Joe did not have a place of employment to go regularly in order to provide for his family, but he could work the ground. In addition to that, Joe was a ground-keeper for many who would buy lands but have no time or desire to cultivate the lands, so they would pay someone to do that for them, and they would do the same with cattle, animals for the farm. This kind of opportunity was a means with which Joe was able to provide for his family.

Keep in mind, aside from working the ground, Joe was a clairvoyant, par excellence. It was a man who would see things that no others could. In our present culture we would call him a psychic, he could see the future, and on top of that, Joe was chosen by a company of spirits that would possess him or empower him to do things that were impossible to do in the human capacity. It was said that those spirits who came upon mankind, were the ones that neither accepted nor rejected God in the time when Satan was after God’s throne. It was believed they were the ones among 1/3 of the fallen angels who came to help mankind. They were also powerful angelic beings and they were known as some types of mystery.1

These angels from time to time would come and go and introduce themselves in the affairs and cultures of mankind. They would normally engage in various activities of man in helping to improve their lives. These spirit beings were heavily involved in the shaping of the culture in the village, which later, no doubt developed into different tribes of voodoo worshippers. Furthermore, most of the people who interacted with them from generations past, have considered them to be blessings from God, because not only they helped with some social-economic problems, but they also performed miracles as far as treating incurable diseases which, for the most part, were medically impossible, and for that: people in the community would exhibit an open admiration, not only for the spirits among them, but as well as a sense of gratitude and appreciation for the ones that become a channel of communication between the spirits and the people.

And so, this was what Joe well-known for, he had this distinguished reputation as far as being a conduit for these mysterious spirits among his contemporaries. Joe was that special guy who seemingly everybody needed. In fact, because of that special gift, so to speak, Joe would eventually rub against prominent figures in his community, and as well as others throughout the country.

As the years went by quickly, and at the same time Joe’s reputation continued to spread more rapidly: and because of his reputation he encountered a wonderful woman from the nearest city in the line of his work almost at the same time the year of his son’s fourth birthday, whose problem only Joe could help solve it. The nature of the problem remained unknown for many, even up to this day; but almost immediately, Joe went to work toward a satisfactory solution for this woman whom the life of her son depended on it.

So, Joe would summon one of the spirits through his ritual tradition which would allow him to bring about this solution for this lady’s son problem. By the way, Joe never met the lady’s son, he only did all his work behind the scenes with his collaborators on behalf of the son. That kind of guarantee, in a strategic way, could only be mysterious or real magic. This appeared as if a patient was being operated on remotely, without having the patient present in front of the physician. That is truly unbelievable, that was exactly what Joe did under the guidance of the spirits. In the spirit’s world, they call this an Interpellation which has the idea of hailing the spirits in order to send out an Expedition which by the way has an aspect to cure a disease of a demonic spell, also at the same time can inflict physical pain to another person remotely instantaneously. This can be done either way for both intentions.2

Joe provided an excellent service to the lady; they would know whether what he did was working or not in the following days. So far, Joe did not get paid for the work he did, he could not, because being a conduit for the spirits, was forbidden for any individual or even Joe for that matter, to ever gain lucratively of anything resulting from the effort they made to help a person in need. Should the person who found favor from the spirit’s works feel the need to pay, or offer some form of gratuity, this should be refused immediately and thanked the one in need for the gesture. That was the spirits’ prerogative for their servants to be used by them, period!

The ones that are the spirit’s servants, in the case of Joe, should only be a faithful servant as an act of sacrifice, and devotion to the spirit’s call, so that this servant can still be used by the spirits as a privilege to serve. The only gratification, one would hope to find for being a faithful servant to the spirits, was security, and protection from them against jealous foes and ruthless enemies. They can only accept gifts that are not related to the services rendered, or monetary donations and accessories that can help further the works of the spirits, which on many occasions the spirit in command would share those gifts among themselves. These accessories can be such as: alcoholic beverages, cigars, cigarettes, uniforms, flags, and materials appropriated for the spirits to use, that helps make life a bit better for the people of whom they want to help.

This woman who was so desperately hoping for a miracle, would soon find out. Suffice it to say, every eye was on Joe with anticipation that everything would go well in favor of the lady’s request. This work was unfortunately a test, one that literally put Joe’s reputation on the line, and of course, one that would potentially settle his credibility for good. Sure enough, Joe not only performed well at the task at hand, but most importantly, the lady got what she was hoping for, a miracle. And so, for the next few months, she would come and go as follow-ups for the work Joe had done for her.

She was so grateful for what would come as a shock to her every time she looked at her son, she only had Joe to thank for the work he had wonderfully done. She would offer to pay Joe as in name your price. As you know, Joe would refuse to accept her monetary compensation. She would insist to help Joe in any possible way she could to truly show her gratitude toward him. At that time, Joe was about to get an offer, one he could not refuse. Since there was anything that she could give as a way to thank him and his family for being there for her, she offered to foster his son as her own in a way to, not only show her gratitude, but it was also an opportunity for Joe’s son to have a chance for a better education, the one that Joe’s son, Pedro would not find where he lived with his family.

This offer came as a surprise to Joe and his wife Victoria, but she assured them, that they needed to think about it, and promised them that she would take care of Pedro the same as if he was her own under her care. Besides, her own children were grown up and they were much older than Pedro, and she was devoted to give much of her time to make sure that Pedro was well taken care of.

As scary that it may seem to think that Joe and his wife Victoria would let their son under the care of a stranger living miles away from them, was remotely a possibility to entertain, but after much thoughts and some more assurances from the lady; Joe and his wife would agree to allow their son to go live with the lady’s family in the city.

Granted, the opportunity offered to Joe and his wife concerning their son was priceless and was tremendously great for them and the child himself, considering the disadvantage for a child like him, to get a chance at a good private school. They were not able to afford it for him as much as they desired it to do so.

Joe and his wife were so grateful for the offer which was bittersweet for them, for the fact that it was a great opportunity for their son to be among the brightest, but at the same time because Pedro was the oldest son they had, they did not want to abandon him, not knowing what the future could offer him, if they would not make a decision that was best for their son instead of theirs.

They wanted to hold on to him as long as they could only because they were fearful of their child … considering the loss of their first-born daughter not so long ago. Eventually, they had to let go of their fear to put their son’s interest first, and at the same time they needed assurance that they could at any time come to visit their son and would allow him to come during summer vacations and other holidays throughout the school year.

After all, had been said and done, they, both the lady and Pedro’s parents, reached the agreement that next year, at the opening of the school’s calendar year, Pedro would start his first day in school at a private kindergarten in town. This began the journey for Pedro in the quest for a better life in due time.

Even though Joe and Victoria were still concerned about the wellbeing of their son, Pedro. They needed to think about the rest of their family, the other boy, Sergio, who was one year of age at the time, when Pedro left home for school in town. It is also worth noting that his sister, Philo, would come two years later following this rather unexpected move for him to go to town residing with another family there. This would not stop with Philo, the third child. Four years after that, in 1981, the family welcomed another girl whose name was Delinda.

Pedro could remember during the months of his mom’s pregnancies with both two sisters separately, when mom would come visit him, and was able to experience, not only the births of his sisters, but was also involved in helping taking care of them during school’s breaks throughout the year at home.

Meanwhile, two years before Pedro was able to complete his middle school years, his parents removed him under the care of the foster home he was in. Since also, it has been many years now since the lady moved to live with his son, the one that Joe helped his mom about, for the rest of her life in Montreal, Canada. Mati, the lady who was caring for Pedro, stayed
