Dedication
To the kids who age out of the system. You are stronger than you know. You get to choose your family. Choose people who want the best for you.
Acknowledgements
I want to acknowledge the family that took a chance on a damaged kid. Four years of being in the system and eight foster homes later, you adopted me. You have supported and encouraged me and even now when I am thirty-five years-old, you continue to do so. Thank you.
Thank you to those who contributed recipes for this book.
