    MY JOURNEY

    I was first introduced to food allergies when my youngest daughter was born. She was 6 weeks old and waking 5-6 times a night. She would routinely wake up crying in pain around 1am, and not get back to sleep again until around 4am. During this time I was also getting up for my 4 year old son and 2 year old daughter 2-3 times a night each!!! Needless to say I was exhausted and after about 6 weeks of this, I felt like I was about to have a nervous breakdown. It was then that a close friend of mine suggested that my youngest daughter’s problem may in fact be food allergies/intolerances. So I went on the same eating regime that she was doing as her daughter was born 10 days after mine. So we were pretty much on the same page. I was desperate and prepared to try anything.
