Tragic Ending to Donald J. Trump’s Great Presidency: Capitol Building Uprising Leads to Impeachment 2.0, as Media and Big Tech Bias and Claims of Election Fraud Continues
()
About this ebook
This book will argue that the best term for J6 is an uprising, hence the use of that term in the subtitle of this book. This book will cover J6 and its aftermath in detail, including the second House impeachment and Senate trial of Trump.
This book also updates issues covered in a pervious book by the author related to the bias of the mainstream media and of Big Tech and problems with the 2020 election.
The word “Great” is included in the title of this book to describe Trump’s presidency, as it truly was a successful presidency, until Covid-19 derailed much of his economic successes, then J6 tarnished his legacy. His many accomplishments are detailed on the author’s politics website and other politics books.
The chapter on the Georgia senatorial runoffs has been retained as originally written, because many of the warnings in that chapter have proven to be warranted, while others might still occur. The chapter also contains several striking examples of the bias of the MSM and why Trump calls the MSM “fake news.”
If you watched the J6 Commission Hearings in June 2022, you got only half the story. This book gives you the entire story, so you can make an informed decision about J6 and Trump’s role therein.

Preface
Democrats claim the events of January 6, 2021 (J6) were a deadly insurrection incited by Donald J. Trump.
But this book demonstrates J6, though tragic, was not deadly (with one exception), it was not an insurrection, and it was not incited by then President Trump.
This book will argue that the best term for J6 is an uprising, hence the use of that term in the subtitle of this book. This book will cover J6 and its aftermath in detail, including the second House impeachment and Senate trial of President Trump.
This book also updates issues covered in a previous book by the author related to the bias of the mainstream media (MSM) and of Big Tech and problems with the 2020 election.
The word Great
is included in the title of this book to describe Trump’s presidency, as it truly was a successful presidency, until Covid-19 derailed much of his economic successes, then J6 tarnished his legacy. His many accomplishments are detailed on the author’s politics website and other politics books (see Appendices Two and Three).
The chapter on the Georgia senatorial runoffs has been retained as originally written, because many of the warnings in that chapter have proven to be warranted, while others might still occur. The chapter also contains several striking examples of the bias of the MSM and why Trump calls the MSM fake news.
Dates and Related Books
This book was primarily written as the events were unfolding. But it includes an occasional later update as needed.
Although this book covers events that occurred in early 2021, it was not published until mid-2022. That delay was due to personal issues the author was dealing with during that time period. But the book remains relevant and will do so for a long time.
That ongoing importance could be seen in the big deal the MSM and Democrats made on January 6, 2022, the first anniversary of J6. Dems will most certainly continue to hold anniversary events every January 6th, as they do not want the memory of J6 to fade. That is because it is their best weapon against the GOP in the 2022 midterm elections and even more so if Trump decides to run again in 2024.
But even if Trump does not run again, the media and Dems will try to saddle whoever the GOP nominates for its presidential candidate with responsibility for J6, as they have been doing with all Repubs ever since that day. They will also use J6 to try to tarnish Trump’s allies and all other GOP candidates.
This book is a follow-up to the author’s book Alleged Corruption, Bias, and Fraud: Allegations of the Corruption of Joe Biden, Bias of the Media and Big Tech, and Fraud in the 2020 Election. That book covered events surrounding the disputed 2020 presidential election up to the end of 2020. This book picks up the story on January 1, 2021.
Another prequel to this book is this author’s book Trump’s 2020 Election Tweets, Georgia Phone Call, and January 2021 Speeches: Did Trump’s Claims of Election Fraud Lead to the Capitol Building Uprising? It records all of Trump’s words that Dems claim led to the uprising. This Tragic Ending book then expands on rebuttals to those claims.
The reason Dems will try to keep the memory of J6 alive is it is their best weapon against the GOP. That is because they cannot run on Joe Biden’s record, as his presidency is proving to be a disaster.
That is documented in this writer’s five-book series on Biden’s failing presidency. It contains the two-volume set Joe. Biden. Tweets During the First Year of His Failing Presidency: Reversing Trump, while Dividing and Destroying America and the three-volume set Joe Biden Tweets During the Second Year of His Failing Presidency, Volume One: Promoting Sin and Death, Causing Bidenflation, and Spewing Hate and Division.
Then my book Trump Fights Back with Statements: Against the Lies of Joe Biden, Attacks from Dems, and the Bias of the Media, of Big Tech, and of the J6 Commission covers the same time period as my Biden Tweets books, except from Trump’s perspective.
Finally, my book The Biased J6 Select Committee: The Public Hearings Were Half a Trial; This Book Gives You the Other Half covers additional aspects of J6.
Add in my three-volume set Dems Cannot Beat Trump, So They Impeach Trump and my earlier book Tearing the USA Apart: From Kavanaugh, to Incivility, to Caravans, to Violence, to the 2018 Midterm Elections, and Beyond, along with my politics website (http://www.Zeolla.org/Politics), and you have a detailed record of the entirety of the presidency of Donald J. Trump, on through the first two years and beyond of Biden’s presidency.
Definitions
This Introductory Page will define some terms that are important to understand in reading this book.
First, the name of this writer’s politics website is Biblical and Constitutional Politics.
I describe it as, Political news and commentary from a conservative Christian and politically conservative perspective.
To define these terms, Conservative Christian
includes the belief that the Bible is God-breathed and fully reliable in all that it teaches and is the divine and final authority on all matters it addresses, including politics. Conversely, a liberal Christian
would deny the divine inspiration, reliability, and ultimate authority of the Bible.
Politically conservative
refers to the belief in limited government, separation of powers, traditional values, personal and national security, capitalism, freedom and liberty, and most of all, an adherence to the Constitution of the United States, following an originalist interpretation thereof.
The definition of politically liberal
would be mostly opposite of all these aspects of politically conservative, beginning with big federal government
instead of limited government.
That would then lead to an erosion of the rest of the points.
Conservatives are often said to be on the right,
while liberals are said to be on the left.
Republicans generally claim to be conservatives, while Democrats are generally liberal, though some prefer the term progressive.
That word is seen in YourDictionary’s definition of liberal. Progressive is someone who advocates for reform and change.
The term leftist
is often used interchangeable with liberal, though the two are not exactly the same. A leftist is defined as, a person whose political position is of the left (noun), esp., a communist or socialist.
The difference is, a liberal will advocate for some socialist policies, such as universal government run health care, but is not fully a socialist, while a leftist will advocate for full socialism.
Also, the definition of liberal says, tolerant of views differing from one’s own.
That is truer of conservatives than liberals, and not at all true of leftists. As a result, a leftist is more likely to engage in civil disobedience and even uncivil disobedience than a liberal.
States and areas are color coded as to how they tend to vote. A red
state tends to vote Republican, while a blue
state tends to vote Democrat. You can remember the difference by both red
and Republican
beginning with re.
A swing state or area, which is to say, one that sometimes votes Republican and sometimes Democrat, is called a purple
state. That of course comes from the fact that mixing blue and red produces purple.
By Mainstream Media
(MSM) is meant traditional and generally liberal news outlets like ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, The New York Times (NYT), and The Washington Post (WaPo).
Conservative news outlets are generally newer news agencies, like Fox News Channel (FNC), Fox Business Network (FBN), Breitbart, and The Daily Caller, plus The Wall Street Journal (WSJ).
By Dems
is meant elected and non-elected Democrat officials in Washington D.C. Specifically, the Democrat members of the US House of Representatives and Democrat Senators in the Senate, along with their staff and other support personal, and all of the other non-elected Democrat bureaucrats in the nation’s capital. It must be noted, the term Dems
does not refer to the average registered Democrat US voter.
Similarly, by Repubs
is meant the same, except to substitute Republican
for Democrat
in the preceding paragraph.

Section One: Beginning of the New Year:
Ch. 1: The First Week of 2021:
The first week of 2021 was very eventful. This chapter covers some of these events. With New Year’s Day being on a Friday, not much was expected to happen until Monday, January 4, 2021. But much happened on the first few days of the New Year.
Friday, New Years’ Day
Surprisingly, the Senate was in session on New Year’s Day and overrode the veto of President Donald J. Trump of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). That veto and its implications was reported in this author’s book Alleged Corruption, Bias, and Fraud: Allegations of the Corruption of Joe Biden, Bias of the Media and Big Tech, and Fraud in the 2020 Election, hereafter referred to as my Corruption book. But here, Trump had vetoed it because it did not include a repeal of Section 230 that gives protections against being sued to Big Tech. The importance of Section 230 will be discussed later.
Also on New Year’s Day, Louie Gohmert’s lawsuit of Vice President Mike Pence was tossed out. That lawsuit was also discussed in my Corruption book. It was to allow Pence to choose alternative Electoral College electors sent by a few GOP controlled state legislatures over the ones representing the state’s reported popular vote.
A federal judge on Friday [1/1/21] dismissed a Republican congressman’s longshot bid to give Vice President Mike Pence the power to overturn President-elect Joe Biden’s victory in the Electoral College (WSJ. Judge).
U.S. District Judge Jeremy Kernodle on Friday dismissed the suit by Rep. Louie Gohmert, ruling the Texas congressman hadn’t suffered a specific injury caused by any action of Pence and therefore didn’t have legal standing to sue. The judge didn’t rule on the merits of Gohmert’s argument, which would have radically reshaped a vice president’s role.
Congressman Gohmert’s alleged injury requires a series of hypothetical — but by no means certain — events,
said Kernodle, a Trump appointee. Plaintiffs presuppose what the Vice President will do on January 6
and which electoral votes the Vice President will count or reject from contested states
(Trib Live/ AP. Judge)
Thus, once again, a lawsuit is thrown out not on the merits but on a lack of standing. That was the case with many of the lawsuits challenging results of the 2020 election in various states, as recorded in my Corruption book. But Gohmert said he would appeal, and the judge said the lawsuits needed to be appealed to Congress.
But this event showed how torn the GOP is over the challenges to the upcoming Electoral College vote on January 6th. At this point, the first day of the year, about 130 GOP House Reps said they would not vote to certify the votes, while just one Senator, Josh Hawley, said he would join them. But that is all that is needed, one Rep and one Senator, to force a debate on the issue.
By law, Congress must hold a joint session on Jan. 6 to ratify Mr. Biden’s 306-232 Electoral College win. Objections from some Republican senators and House members are expected to force debate and votes in both chambers of Congress. Majorities in the House and Senate would have to agree for the challenge to be successful, an extremely unlikely prospect given that Democrats control the House (WSJ. Electoral).
The objections would be to each state under dispute, with two hours of debate per state. With up to six state’s Electoral votes to be challenged, that could amount to 12 hours of debate.
Saturday, January 2, 2021
On Saturday, the 2nd, GOP Senator Ted Cruz (TX) and ten other Republican (Repub) Senators declared they would also object to the Electoral College vote, unless there was a ten day emergency audit
of the 2020 election. Among those eleven were four Senators-elect.
The current Senators were: Ron Johnson (WI), James Lankford (OK), Steve Daines (MO), John Kennedy (LA), Marsha Blackburn (TN), and Mike Braun (IN). The Senators-elect were: Tommy Tuberville (AL), Cynthia Lummis (WY), Roger Marshall (KS), and Bill Hagerty (TN).
Of course, Dems were decrying this move, saying it is bad for Democracy
and undemocratic.
That might be true, but it is great for our Republic to be sure the rule of law is followed in our elections. To be clear, the USA is a Republic, not a Democracy. As such, the rule of law not the majority rules.
It is also hypocritical for Dems to decry such an objection, since they have objected the last three times a Republican was elected President, including of course in 2016. In fact, they never did accept the results of that election, as I mention many times in my three-volume set Dems Cannot Beat Trump, So They impeach Trump, hereafter referred to as my Impeach trilogy.
Then later that day, Trump, with his Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, held a conference call with 50 GOP House members, including Mo Brooks (AL), who is leading the challenge in the House. It remained to be seen on the 6th if anything comes of these objections.
Also on Saturday, the 2nd, Iran was threatening retaliation for the killing of Qasem Soleimani one year before. I discuss that event in depth in Impeach: Volume Three.
Iran retaliated then, but it involved lobbing a few missiles at a parking lot, and that was about it. In the midst of their missile attack, they shot down a civilian airliner. The fallout from that tragedy ended any further hostilities.
But now, a year later, I guess they think the world has forgotten about their incompetence, so they can retaliate again. It remains to be seen if this is just more Iranian bluster or if anything comes of it.
Iran also announced they would begin to increase uranium enrichment from 3-5% to 20%. That is the difference in purity needed between nuclear power and a nuclear bomb.
On the 1st then on the 2nd, sadly, first the home of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D. CA) then the home of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R. KY) were vandalized. The spray paint indicated the perpetrators were upset about the $2,000 stimulus checks not being passed.
Those were discussed in my book Trump’s 2020 Election Tweets, Georgia Phone Call, and January 2021 Speeches: Did Trump’s Claims of Election Fraud Lead to the Capitol Building Uprising?, hereafter referred to as my Trump’s Tweets book.
But here, since Nancy lives in San Francisco and Mitch in Kentucky, it was probably two different persons.
The person who vandalized Pelosi’s home must have been misinformed, in that Pelosi had pushed and voted for that measure in the House. It was McConnell who blocked a vote on it in the Senate. But still, such acts of vandalism are always wrong, and I do hope the perpetrators get caught and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
Spray paint on Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s door in Kentucky on Saturday read, WERES MY MONEY.
MITCH KILLS THE POOR
was scrawled over a window. A profanity directed at the Republican senator was painted under the mailbox.
At House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s home in San Francisco, someone spray-painted graffiti and left a pig’s head and fake blood on New Year’s Day, police said. The vandalism was reported around 2 a.m. Friday, a police statement said, and a special investigations unit is trying to determine who did it.
KGO-TV reported that graffiti found on the garage door of the Democratic leader’s home included the phrases $2K,
Cancel rent!
and We want everything,
apparently referencing Democratic lawmakers’ failed efforts to increase the coronavirus relief checks from $600 to $2000 (Trib Live/ AP. McConnell).
That graffiti also indicates the vandal was a socialist, which is no surprise. The far left is far more likely to engage in acts of vandalism and uncivil disobedience than the right or even far right, as I discuss in my book Tearing the USA Apart, hereafter referred to as my Tearing Apart book.
One additional relevant event happened on this day, but it wasn’t reported until the next day. But it is so important, I covered it in two chapters in my book Trump’s Tweets book. The event was President Trump’s phone call to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger on January 2, 2021. See that book for details on that event. But here, we will proceed to the next day.
Sunday, January 3, 2021
Sunday, the 3rd into Monday the 4th proved to be eventual. Joe Biden, Kamal Harris, President Trump, and VP Pence were all campaigning in Georgia ahead of the runoff race on Tuesday. I will cover those events in the next chapter.
But here, on the 3rd, the 117th Congress was sworn in, both the House and Senate, and both were to elect their leaders. However, the vote in the Senate had to wait for the Georgia runoff, but if Repubs retained control, everyone expected Mitch to be selected again.
But there was expected drama in the House, as it was unsure whether Nancy Pelosi would be elected again or not. Many newer congresspeople, like Democrat New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC), were saying they needed new blood
in leadership in the Democrat Party.
Moreover, there was to be some complications in the vote:
Democrats expect to have 222 seats to Republicans’ 211. One race in New York is still in dispute, and a seat in Louisiana will be vacant because Republican Rep.-elect Luke Letlow died on Tuesday [12/29/20] from complications of Covid-19. Two other Republican lawmakers are expected to be absent because they have tested positive for Covid-19. It isn’t known if any Democrats will miss the vote (WSJ. Pelosi).
Note that there is some debate as to if Luke Letlow died from COVID or with COVID. I will address that important distinction in my forthcoming book on the Coronavirus, to be titled Coronavirus Fearmongering on the Left, Covid-19 Lies on the Right: What the Authorities Got Correct and Incorrect about SARS-CoV-2, hereafter referred to as my Coronavirus book.
But here, the point is, the Dems’ margin over Repubs is very slim, so Nancy cannot afford to lose too many votes and still get elected for her fourth term as Speaker. But those three missing
Repub Reps would aid her in getting the needed over 50% of the quorum present. With the number down to 432, if all show up, it will take 217 votes to decide a Speaker.
The procedure for swearing in the congresspeople and the Speaker vote would also be altered due to the pandemic. Normally, all 435 members would fill the chamber and be sworn in at once, then cast their votes all at once. But with the pandemic, the plan was for small groups of Reps to enter the chamber at a time. That means, the normally few minutes ceremony could drag on all day.
As it turned out, Nancy Pelosi won her fourth term, but only because no one ran against her. AOC was asked why she didn’t run, and she said she didn’t feel qualified, with being such a new congressperson (which is true). As a Fox News Channel (FNC) pundit put it last time, but it still held true this time, You can’t beat somebody with nobody.
The final vote count was reported in this tweet:
House Press Gallery @HouseDailyPress
427 votes cast for Speaker:
216 - Pelosi
209 - McCarthy
1 - Duckworth
1 - Jeffries
3 – present
Nancy Pelosi elected Speaker. Jan 3, 2020
Thus, Nancy won with just 216 votes. That is one short of the number needed if all of the members had been present. But note the total number of votes: 427. That means, five people more than was expected were absent. If they had been present, then 216 would not have been enough to get the victory for Nancy.
And to get to that 216, Nancy had to pull a few tricks. She allowed Covid-positive Dem members to enter the chamber and to vote. She did so by having a Plexiglas chamber built for them to enter into when they voted. But that was built in the middle of the night, and Repubs were not told about it and thus were not able to make use of it.
To make matters worse, there was a big dust up over the lack of mask wearing and social distancing.
Do not miss that these are the very same lawmakers who are chiding us to wear masks, to socially distance, and to stay at home and who shut down businesses across the country. But when it comes to their jobs, all such mitigation efforts get ignored.
This is not the first instance of such hypocrisy among politicians. I will detail many more in my forthcoming Coronavirus book. I will make the case there that one reason so many Americans rebelled against the restrictions and mandates was due to such hypocrisy on the part of those making those mandates.
Also on Sunday, Bloomberg News published a really ridiculous piece with no supporting evidence titled, Don’t draw military into U.S. election, ex-defense chiefs say.
It states:
All 10 living former U.S. defense secretaries called for a peaceful transition of power this month and warned that any effort to involve the military in resolving election disputes would take us into dangerous, unlawful and unconstitutional territory.
…
While Trump has promoted unsubstantiated claims of major vote fraud, and egged on supporters who plan to rally in Washington on Jan. 6, the former defense leaders focused on calls in some circles to involve the military in overturning the results of the Nov. 3 presidential election. They include Trump’s former national security adviser, Michael Flynn, who asserted last month that Trump has the power to rerun the election in swing states under military supervision (Trib Live/ Bloomberg. Don’t).
Finally, on Sunday, it was announced that Biden would forgo the traditional inauguration parade and hold a virtual parade across America
due to the pandemic.

On Monday the 4th, the new House voted on new rules. They included a provision that banned the use of gender-specific
words like father, mother, brother, sister, aunt, and uncle., House members are to say parent, sibling, and parent’s sibling instead, respectively.
The craziness of such a rule was foreshadowed the day before, when Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D. MO) ended the opening prayer with Amen and awoman.
One of my local reps, Guy Reschenthaler (R. PA) tweeted that amen
is Latin for so be it.
Actually, it is Hebrew not Latin. That Hebrew word in the Old Testament was then transliterated into Greek letters for the New Testament. Then it was transliterated into English letters for English translations of the Bible.
But Guy is correct on the meaning. I know that, as I translated the Old and New Testaments from the Greek for my Analytical-Literal Translation of the Bible. I rendered the Greek word amen as So be it.
See Appendix Two for details on my translation.
But here, Newt Gingrich is correct when he tweeted:
Amen and awoman. perfect House Democrat prayer ending as House Dems focus on gender security by abolishing virtually every normal gender term like
father. Mother" --the radical madness has begun--Kevin McCarthy for Speaker! Jan 4, 2020
Also as part of those rules, There is established an Office of Diversity and Inclusion.
Here come the language police. As Newt said, the radical madness has begun.
Franklin Graham tweeted:
@SpeakerPelosi & @RepMcGovern announced a set of changes to the House rules to enshrine what they call gender-inclusive language. Can you believe that they actually propose to strike the use of words including father, mother, son, aunt, uncle, & wife?
Proposed House Rules Strike Non-Inclusive Words ‘Father,’ ‘Son,’ ‘Sister’: McCarthy Responds.’
Franklin Graham @Franklin_Graham
These proposed changes will be voted on soon after the House enters the new session. God created them male & female
(Genesis 1:27). It’s just a fact. If those claiming the name progressive are allowed to have their way, we won’t even recognize this nation in a very short time. Jan 3, 2020
Also on Monday, here in southwestern Pennsylvania where I live, they were still finding uncounted ballots.
Westmoreland County elections officials disclosed Monday that 21 uncounted provisional ballots submitted at a North Huntingdon voting precinct on Election Day were discovered last week among computer equipment used at the polls in November.
Elections bureau staffers found the unopened ballots during a routine inspection of voting machines stored at the department’s Greensburg warehouse on Dec. 28 (Trib Live. Uncounted).
We keep being told there is no evidence
of fraud in the 2020 election. And it is true these ballots might not have been deliberately lost, and 21 ballots is not enough to change any election results, even in the down-ballot local races. But it is definitely irregular
to be finding and counting ballots weeks after the election.
As such, excuse me if I still have misgivings about the results. I mean, how many more lost
ballots are out there? But federal judges are still refusing to even hear such evidence.
A federal judge on Monday [1/4/21] rejected a lawsuit filed by two Republican Wisconsin lawmakers, voting rights groups and others seeking to overturn the 2020 presidential election results in Wisconsin and four other swing states where Democrat Joe Biden defeated President Donald Trump.
U.S. District Judge James Boasberg, in rejecting the lawsuit, said it rests on a fundamental and obvious misreading of the Constitution.
The judge, who was appointed by former President Barack Obama, also said it was filed on behalf of plaintiffs without standing, in the wrong court and with no effort to serve the defendants (Trib Live/AP. Federal).
Thus, once again, a lawsuit is thrown out, not on the merits, but on a lack of standing and other technicalities. This was the pattern in the weeks after the election, as I detail in my Corruption book. We keep being told there is nothing to see here and that all of the lawsuits have been rejected. But if those lawsuits are rejected without a consideration of the evidence, how is that appropriate?
Also on Monday, Senator Kelly Loeffler tweeted that she would join the Electoral College objection. It was an image, so it was longer than the normal 280-character tweet.
The American people deserve a platform in Congress, permitted under the Constitution, to have election issues presented so that they can be addressed.
On January 6th, I will vote to give President Trump and the American people the fair hearing they deserve and support the objection to the Electoral College certification process.
I have also already introduced legislation to establish a commission to investigate election irregularities and recommend election integrity measures, which I will be working to get passed in the Senate.
We must restore trust, confidence and integrity in our election system.
She then expanded on that tweet in a statement reported by Fox News.
Elections are the bedrock of our democracy and the American people deserve to be 100% confident in our election systems and its outcomes. But right now, tens of millions of Americans have real concerns about the way in which the November Presidential election was conducted—and I share their concerns,
Loeffler said in a statement to Fox News on Monday.
Loeffler continued. That’s why, on January 6th, I will vote to give President Trump and the American people the fair hearing they deserve and support the objection to the Electoral College certification process
(Fox News. Loeffler).
Finally on Monday, protesters gathered outside of Senator Josh Hawley’s’ home to protest him planning on objecting to the Electoral College vote. The news media reported it as a peaceful protest, but that was only after the police showed up. Prior to that time, Josh’s wife and daughter were harassed, while Josh was not home.
Tonight while I was in Missouri, Antifa scumbags came to our place in DC and threatened my wife and newborn daughter, who can’t travel,
Hawley wrote on Twitter. They screamed threats, vandalized, and tried to pound open our door. Let me be clear: My family & I will not be intimidated by leftwing violence.
…
The group, ShutdownDC, posted a nearly hour-long video that showed about a dozen protesters arriving at Hawley’s home, chanting and shouting through a megaphone, walking up to his doorstep, waving signs and writing on the sidewalk with chalk (Trib Live/ AP. Police).
Harassing a woman with a newborn, while the man of the house is not home. That is truly despicable, but it is par for the course for these cowards.

The Georgia runoff election for two Senate seats was held on Tuesday the 5th. It will be covered in the next chapter. But here, also on Tuesday, there were conflicting reports about a conversation between President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence.
It was reported that Trump had pressured Pence to challenge the Electoral College votes for Joe Biden. But it was said Pence told Trump he did not have the authority to do that. But Trump claims Pence never said that to him. Instead, Trump claims that he and Pence, are in total agreement that the Vice President has the power to act.
Meanwhile, A spokesman for Pence declined to comment
(Fox News. Trump renews).
I don’t know the truth of this conversation. But it is clear, Trump wants Pence to do something, while it is doubtful he has the authority to do anything other than just read the results as given to him.
As I explain in my Corruption book, the comparison has been made to the Master of Ceremonies during an awards show, like the Oscars. The MC is handed an envelope. He opens it then reads what it says. He has no power to change what is already written, which is based on a prior vote.

The really big events on Wednesday the 6th will require two separate chapters. But before getting to those events and to skip ahead to Thursday, the 6th, Rush Limbaugh was back behind the EIB microphone
doing his talk show. However, he said the previous two weeks were very rough. But still, despite his ongoing health problems, he is still strong enough to give a voice to the conservative movement.
Also on this day, Iran issued an arrest warrant for Trump over Soleimani’s killing a year before. Again, it remains to be seen if this is just bluster or if something comes of it.
The arrest warrant was for a charge of premeditated murder, which carries the death penalty on conviction. It is unlikely to be carried out but symbolic in the waning days of Trump’s presidency (Trib Live/ AP. Iran).
Before proceeding, we need to back up to the 2nd-3rd and an event that happened then.
Loeffler and Perdue
Prior to their Georgia runoff, both Senators Kelly Loeffler and Davide Purdue weighed in on the Electoral College challenge and Trump’s phone call that was mentioned previously and is covered in my Trump’s Tweets book.
At Trump’s rally on January 4th, Loeffler took the microphone and reiterated that she would object to the Electoral College vote for Biden.
"I have an announcement, Georgia. On Jan. 6, I will object to the Electoral College vote. We will get this done, Georgia.
"I have a very important question for you: Are you ready to show America that Georgia is a red state?
That’s right. That’s right. This president fought for us. We are fighting for him. He put America first. He put the American worker first. Thanks, Mr. President. He stood with our men and women of law enforcement and restored our military.
On the same day, during his interview on FNC’s America’s Newsroom, Purdue said Trump did nothing wrong on the phone call:
I didn’t hear anything in that tape that the president hasn’t already said for weeks now since the November election calling for some sort of investigation, some sort of resolution to the improprieties and the irregularities that we now see happened in November here in Georgia.
I record the full transcript of that call in my Trump’s Tweets book, so the reader can read it and decide for yourself if Trump did anything wrong on that call. It will be mentioned again as we proceed, so it is good to know what it entails.
Ch. 2: Georgia Runoffs:
Republican incumbents won their races in Alaska and North Carolina. Those races were still too close to call as I ended my Corruption book. That meant, the balance of power in the Senate now stood at Dems 48, Repubs 50. But there were still the two Georgia races that were heading to a runoff on January 5, 2021. They would be vital, as control of the Senate was at stake.
Background
Incumbent Republican Sen. Kelly Loeffler and Democrat Rev. Raphael Warnock will have the runoff election in January.
Incumbent Republican Sen. David Perdue and Democrat Jon Ossoff, the head of an investigative television production company, are heading into a runoff election as well (Just the News. Sullivan).
Ms. Loeffler was appointed in late 2019 by Georgia’s Republican Gov. Brian Kemp to fill the seat vacated by Republican Johnny Isakson, who stepped down for health reasons. Under state law, the new senator must run in the next general election. This leaves Georgia with two Senate seats in play at once, a rare occurrence. Whoever wins the seat held by Sen. Loeffler will have to run again for a new six-year term in 2022 (WSJ. Georgia’s).
If Dems win both races, that will give the Senate a 50-50 split. That will make VP Harris the deciding vote, meaning Dems will have effective control of the Senate. But if Repubs can pick up just one of the two seats, that will give them a 51-49 control of the Senate.
Georgia is holding runoff elections for both U.S. Senate seats on Jan. 5, and the outcome will determine control of the Senate.
Republicans hold the majority at 50-48. If incumbent Georgia Republicans David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler hold their seats, the GOP will have majority control and greater ability to block President-elect Joe Biden’s agenda and proposals from the Democratic-controlled House.
If challengers Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock win, Democrats would gain control of the Senate with Vice President-elect Kamala Harris, in her role as president of the Senate, casting tiebreaking votes. Mr. Biden would have a far better chance of significant policy changes (WSJ. Georgia’s).
I hope and pray both Repubs win their races. A Repub-controlled Senate will be a bulwark against the radicalism of the House and of the new Executive Branch. And they really need both seats, as I don’t trust Mitt Romney to stick with the Repubs. He showed his lack of loyalty in the Ukraine impeachment, when he was the lone Senator to cross party lines and to vote to convict Trump on article one, as discussed at length in Volume Three of my Impeach trilogy. In fact, I could foresee him leaving the Republican Party and becoming a Democrat. That means, Repubs really need both Georgia seats to ensure control of the Senate.
Senator Linsey Graham (R. SC) remarked on the importance of this race on December 14, 2020 on the Sean Hannity Show on FNC:
If we lose Georgia, Bernie Sanders will become the budget chairman, not Lindsey Graham so your money’s at stake,
Graham stated, adding that the Democratic leadership will then be able to expand the number of judges on the Supreme Court from nine to 13 and make it liberal.
He also warned of statehood for the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico while saying legislation like the Green New Deal and Medicare for All will become realities with a Democratic controlled Senate.
But the most important thing for the moment here is if we retain control of the Senate, the Hunter Biden fiasco doesn’t go away,
Graham said, citing the investigation by the Department of Justice into the tax returns and business affairs of President-elect Joe Biden’s son (Daily caller. Lindsey).
But even if
