    Introduction

    Cellulite is the term for groups of fat that push against the connective tissue under your skin. It usually appears on the thighs, stomach, and buttocks. Cellulite causes the skin to look lumpy and appear dimpled.

    What is Cellulite and What Causes it?

    There are millions of women worldwide with cellulite problems; it affects between 80 and 90 percent of women and rarely when cellulite occurs in men. It happens to old and young people too, but it appears more for women aged above 35 years as a result of hormonal changes, it happens to thin or fat people. Also, it is known as orange peel or cottage cheese. It's not a disease; cellulite is the stored fats under the skin that gives the skin a dimpled, lumpy, and ugly appearance. Sometimes it is found in the stomach and arms, but mostly it is on the thighs and buttocks area.

    It is a source of concern that affects women because it makes women lose their self-confidence. Also, it causes embarrassment for her, especially during an intimate relationship or when she wears a bikini or short and tight clothes.

    What Causes Cellulite?

    Cellulite is due to a buildup of fat underneath the skin. Some women are more prone to it than others. The amount of cellulite you have and how evident it is can result in your genes, body fat ratio, and age. The thickness of your skin also impacts the appearance of cellulite. Individuals of all body types and weights can obtain cellulite.

    Cellulite may be caused by:

    Genes - While studies confirm that genetics play a role in the evolution of cellulite, both in how possible a woman's body is to keep fat - and how much the tissue store the fat, there are many other factors trustworthy for the harshness of the cellulite.

    Imbalance Hormones - Missing estrogen levels from the body can affect the vascular activity of the skin, increase fat levels and minimize collagen production that causes cellulite. It happens to people who have a hormone imbalance and women in the aging and Menopause period.

    Obesity - It leads to cellulite by increasing the size of fat cells. In obese people, the fat cells (adipocytes)
