Being an influential communicator requires a connection to something that businesses traditionally avoid - basic human emotion. It takes time, discipline, and effort to learn how to communicate with emotion, but the outcome is well worth it.

The three Ps are predict, preempt, and prevent. Whatever the situation, we must learn to take full responsibility. We can't get rich by demand or pity. Our proposals won't be accepted because people want to give us a break. We are selected because we communicate value to the people making the decision.
