About this ebook

#1 You will begin to look at your vision in a new way, and you may begin to notice some visual shifts. In the second section, you will be asked to check your eyesight again and will be given further suggestions for using the chart to support the healing of your vision.

#2 Eye doctors tell us that 90 percent of us will need to wear glasses at some point in our lives. Yet my twenty years of clinical experience with vision care has shown me that eyesight improvement is possible for virtually everyone.

#3 I was an optometrist, and I would help people see more clearly. But as I began working with patients, I noticed that the practice of vision care seemed to follow a very repetitive pattern. People would come into the office and complain about not being able to see clearly.

#4 The typical patient gets a new pair of lenses, and within a few days he is wearing them all the time. He never tries to see without them anymore. He has become totally addicted and doesn’t even know it.

The brain is constantly asking itself which is better, this or that, and it uses vision to judge and discriminate. But does vision only consist of the ability to recognize little black letters twenty feet away in a narrow, dark room. Can we really measure and correct our vision by testing it once a year.

    #6

The eyes are the most important sensory channel, as they receive information, compare that information with our past experience, and motorically act upon it. Vision involves the entire mind/body system.

    #7

The most effective way to heal your vision is to start by looking into your mind. We must replace the question What do other people think is true. with the question What is true for me.

    #8

The brain and the body are not separate
