    How many times have you tried to blame others for your unhappiness, lack of success, or even sickness? It’s easy to put the blame around you but not within you. It’s time to stop feeling sorry for yourself and start taking charge of yourself. Yes, I know, life sucks sometimes and we all have experienced at least a few things that we don’t even know why they happened to us; but the fact is that the longer you try to solve that mystery without focus on your future or self-redirection, the longer you will stay where you are now. Don’t get me wrong, I believe in depression and anxiety but as with any other illnesses if you as the captain of your ship don’t decide to take the blame, the ownership and start piloting your plane there is nothing clinicians or experts can do for you. As clinicians we can tell you how to eat, how many times to work out in a week, or what medications to take, but do you do it? Do you wake up early and go to the gym?
