Growing Pains

Have I value deserving of a woman?

Am I worth being a mom?

Am I of value being called Grandma?

Although I have not been with you

most of your growing years,

I cherish each thought,

every hope

When I see you, I am filled with pride.

I did not just birth you

I love you,

I still do.

You are dear to me;

You are my light,

my everything.

Only God, Christ, the holy spirit

Could be more.

You are part of me,

You came from my loins

nine months I carried you

I labored not in vain.

Growing up a gentleman and a lady,

none could be as good.

growing pains, you held on.

All in all, you did me proud.

Bravery is necessary to hold for there

to be break through

Just the right amount of ego, self

confidence, bravery is necessary

for success

Practice rightful conduct, be confident

for there is always someone always ready

to pull you down.

Know thyself by your associations

When you are one with the source

anything is possible

Eyes are windows to the soul

empower yourself to achieve best results.

Have a prosperous mindset

for every cloud there is a silver lining

Substance

Our hearts met

Our ambitions created goals,

we met them.

I protect and care for you equally,

My value as a woman increased.

Now you are reaching my trophy

A life God made available.

Reach for success my dears,

reach for the value as human beings.

Though bi-racial

We are given standards,

rungs of a ladder.

we have only to reach unto them

from a crawl, to a walk then run

we will make it.

Don’t take your eyes of the prize.

If you cannot see it,

Visualize the end result,

The prize is waiting there.

To love God with your whole heart, soul
