To my wife Eilene Atkinson, thank you for loving me, keeping me, and helping me through one of the darkest times of my life. I love it when you say, the Alvin that you fell in love with was still in there, and I wanted him back. Thank you for keeping your wedding vows and not giving up on me, when I needed you. Thank you for your support and encouragement in my basketball career, the successful business, and in the ministry. But most of all, thank you for the children you gave me.

To my children, Whitney, AJ (Adrian Young), Eric, and my grandchildren, Aiden and Andrew, you all are beautiful children with kind and wonderful spirits.
