    Dedication

For all the moms and women who are on a journey of growth - you’re not alone, despite what things may look like. I hope this book encourages you to keep going. There is always light at the end of the tunnel.

    Introduction

I’ve had traumatic situations occurring since childhood. I only knew chaos. I never knew that I could be freed from trauma, from things, people, mental and emotional bondage. Because of these experiences, I had a hard time believing that I was worthy of anything other than chaos.

The saying is true, and children are sponges. Depending on the situations they are put in, they can either thrive or not.

The things we experience as a child into adolescence mold us into who we become as adults, good or bad. Sadly, we don’t always get to choose. But we do get the choice of deciding what stays.

I wrote this book because as I met and connected with different people, whether family, friends, coworkers, or strangers, I realized I was not alone! I would always find myself sharing similar stories with young girls and women despite their age. I was always a go-to person for a lot of people to share their troubles with. And the more I was vocal in sharing my experiences, and I helped others.

Within these pages, you’ll find daily stories about how I overcame tough obstacles, things that I thought would break me.
